The scientist looked to their boss, to report on the project which had just finished up. The fact this little project was morally suspect and absolutely illegal... well, student loans didn't pay themselves.
"Miranda's Revenge formula was simple to obtain from police records. We were able to replicate it. However, the artificial super pheromone in it will likely have no effect on the subject given his genetic structure. Which is why we might need some help." said the scientist, refering to the perfume created by chemist Miranda.
She had been an employee and lover of Lex Luthor, fired and dumped when her results were not fast enough and he was done with her. She created Revenge, a perfume which lowered sexual inhabitions to zero. Successfully testing a one percent, forty-eight hour lasting concenration at the Daily Planet where she was rehire by Lex. But he didn't continue their love affair. Where she went nuts and try to spray a one hundred percent concentration on he city, which at that level would be permanent. She had been stopped by Superman, speaking of which...
"To get the perfume to affect Krytonian physiology, I figured we could bind the pheromone with... red kryptonite. Unlike the green variety which affects Kryptonians physicially, the red version affects them mentally already. We believe it will allow the pheromone to have it's effects."
The employer mentioned, "You believe?"
"Not many aliens from the planet Krypton to experiment on. The theory is sound, but nothing is a hundred percent. Without a better idea... it's all we got. Plus the pheromone takes time to kick in when used on humans, so you may need time with a Kryptonian as well. Lots of time. Or it may take seconds, given they may have supersmell abilities. But we have the finish project..." The Scientist held up a crimson bottle of perfume full of fluid. Then continued, "Meet Ruby Revenge!"
