At that very moment the ball of energy began to flash, scaring everyone in the room as the portals finally closed and stopped feeding the now house sized black orb hovering over the timid hands of the witch. With an explosion of dark light Viper guarded
her eyes at what happened next, the curse slammed into Viper, flinging her across the room. What arose was a titanic wendigo 20 meters tall.
"HUNGER!" The white and black furred Wendigo Queen shouted.
What Hydra members had any sense started running.
Dock Yards, New York city
Ghost Rider stopped dead in his tracks. Blade even felt it. Wolverine could tell something bad had happened.
"Bad moon rising?" Punisher asked.
Helicarrier, Over Long Island Sound
Doctor Strange and the Spider couple both had a flash of pure panic.
"Something bad has happened," MJ said in a scared little voice.
"To the North East," Doctor Strange said, "An island just south west of Nova Scotia. Somewhere deep in the earth."
"Get the shuttles ready," Furry ordered.
"No," Jean and Emma said together.
"The death," Jean said.
"The Carnage," Emma continued.
"She will leave nothing!" They finished together.
Johnny, Reed and Susan felt something.
"Ben..." they whispered sensing the death.
"The powers involved," Strange could feel them, "Viper, she had made bargains with elder horrors the likes of which Lovecraft described long ago. That must have been mixed with Wendigo curses in order to create such an evil. Furry, We will need two shuttles
and a fleet of gunships to try and contain the evil on that island with out landing your troops there."
"Lovecraft?" Furry asked, "Are you saying we have a Cathulu Wendigo?"
"No," Strange said shaking his head, "A kind Wendigo Queen."
"Lets go," Johnny said.
"I love you MJ," Peter hugged his wife.
"We will need to get Wolverine's team," Strange told Furry.
"Reed!" Sue tried to protest as her husband turned to leave.
"Someone has to raise our children."
Docks, New York
"You can opt out Frank," Logan said as the S.H.I.E.L.D. shuttle approached, "This isn't your field. We aren't dealing with mobsters any more."
"Logan a long time ago I swore to stand up to evil," Frank said calmly, "Then I swore to make evil pay. This might not be Triads or Cosa Nostra, but it still is evil."
"Not... All... Will... Return..." Ghost Rider said as he boarded the shuttle.
"I never expected to live this long anyways," Frank grabbed his bag of ammo.
"Sir," The crew chief stopped Frank, "We already have everything you need. Compliments of Director Furry."
"Who do we have?" Eric asked as he boarded.
"Human Torch, Spiderman, Mr. Fantastic, Doctor Strange, Spider-Woman, the two X-twins, Doctor Strange and you two," The crew chief answered, "Next Stop off the coast of Nova Scotia!"
"Listen Chuck," Logan whispered, "I know you can hear me. Tell Kitty good bye. Try to keep Laura out of trouble."
NORAD, Colorado
"Sir," the Canadian Defense Force officer turned to the senior Canadian, "It looks like Nova Scotia is about to be invaded."
"What?" the senior officer whispered.
"Look at all of these tracks," the CDF officer pointed to her screen, "they are all heading to Nova Scotia and some of them are stealthed."
"Keep quite till we find out what is going on," the senior officer said.
He made his way to his private terminal, the opened the special chat program.
