“Thank you for your
visit.” Chirped the head waitress at the front desk of a local buffet, waving
out a couple after they had gotten their coats. Turning her back she responded
to a phone call, oblivious to the couple running away in a panic after pointing
up at the sky. “Hello, this is the golden sun buffet, your satisfaction or your
money back. Hmm? Oh yes, we’re open all day, today we have a special discount
that will be running all…” A crash from the front entrance forced the woman to
panic and spin around to find the doorway smashed and peeled open where she
found herself face to stomach with a horde of reptilian monsters looming over
her. “All… Day…”
“Ooh! That’s great
news!” Cheered Susan, clasping her four clawed hands together and looking to
the rest of her family. “Can we get a table for… One, two, seven please?”
With her back against
the wall the waitress panicked, her eyes darting at the massive horned monsters
looking at her with hungry eyes. “GO! Take what you want, ANYTHING! Just don’t
hurt me!” Rushing out the back, she was later joined by the dozens of other
patrons fleeing the buffet anyway they could. Some even going so far as to dive
out the windows and run away screaming.
“Wow, she’s rather
generous.”
“Good thing too! I’m
starved.”
Making their way towards
the buffet table, Valarie licked her lips before she scooped up a claw full of
fried chicken wings and stuffed them into her hungry maw. The rest of the group
followed suite and began eating whatever they could get their hands on. Helping
herself to the entire pasta tray, Susan didn’t notice the stone glow deep
within her cleavage. Slurping up the noodles she shivered when her back became
