Lois Lane was unsure about this gig. Professor Barbara Minerva had been cleared after Wonder Woman destroyed the magic Cheetah Skin that was using her to be Cheetah, the Bane of Humanity. The courts and the universities had restored her good standing. She was now out at a research dig for Mayans in the Central American jungles. While people might be hesitant to let her go back to where she was taken over by an evil spirit animal, it was her specialty, seven books and counting on Mesoamerican Jungle mythologies and archeological relevance, and so she had been granted permission to join a dig on a Guatemalan temple complex. Lois looked down at the clearing and saw the waiting woman.
“Hold on,” The pilot said.
Lois grabbed the arm rests as the pilot lowered the Helicopter to the ground.
“I would rather be landing at the alternate site,” The Pilot said.
“What alternate site?” Lois asked over the intercom.
“What? Oh,” The pilot realized his intercom was still on, “There is an army base about five kilometers down the road, has a nice open field and plenty of security. Trying to land here reminds me a little too much of Vietnam.”
“Right,” Lois said.
The helicopter landed and Lois departed. She braced herself as the rotors sped back up and the aircraft lifted off the ground. Barbara Minerva walked over holding her floppy hat against the artificial wind. The auburn haired woman extended her hand and gave a warm smile.
“Welcome Miss Lane,” Minerva said, “I am sure this must be awkward for you, I must confess I only remember meeting you once before. But I understand I was a rather horrific antagonist for you.”
“Yeah, I still have a few scars,” Lois admitted.
“Sorry about that,” Barbara gave a frown.
“So tell be about this dig?” Lois asked.
“We are about seven kilometers from the nearest town, and here is what remains of a site in use since the Archaic Era. We have found a lot of Pre-Olmec material and a few early Mayan items,” Barbara said, “So we are talking about two thousand years of history here.”
“And as an anthropologist you must be excited to look at the evolution over that period,” Lois said,
“What's with the motorbikes?”
Lois was pointed at a set of motor bikes with baskets on the sides.
“They are how we get to town and back,” Barbara walked deliberately over to a box of helmets.
Just then an explosion rocked the far side of the camp, and sounds of automatic fire were coming from the same direction.
“Shit!” Barbara screamed and then she tossed one of the helmets to Lois, “It’s the guerillas! We need to go! We have to get to the army base!”
Lois was about to ignore her but Barbara put her own helmet on and started sprinting to the motorbikes. Lois put on the helmet in her hands and started towards the bikes. She felt the shock and her entire existence went numb. Barbara walked back to Lois with a triumphant smile.
“You look cute with the helmet,” Barbara purred, “I bet you look better as a biker bitch.”
“I bet you would like be better naked,” Lois said coming around.
“How would you feel about helping me turn the Justice League into the new Injustice League?” Barbara asked.
“I’m in!” Lois smiled.
“I got a couple of crates of helmets,” Barbara let her body change, “And I am sure Good Girl Lois knew most of the secret identies of the Justice League members. Now how about Bad Girl Lois helps Cheetah make some of the most trusted friends and family members of the Justice League into other villains? They can help us turn those heroes into our whores and monsters.”
“I’d say that’s purrfect,” Lois kissed the Cheetah.
“Now take off that helmet,” Cheetah broke the kiss, “You have to file a report so we don’t raise suspicions.”
“Sure thing Baby,” Lois put her arm around the feline femme as they walked back to the dig site.
