“Oooh, neato! It turns you purple?!” Kitty wondered out loud,
looking at the soda can with purple bubbles on its surface. “The added hormone
in our soft drinks are perfectly safe and non-toxic and only last an hour at
the longest, if you’ve been tinted purple longer than an hour…” Continuing to
read the tiny exclaimer on the soda can, Shadowcat shrugged her shoulders and
popped her drink open. Taking a sip, she giggled at the grape flavour, looking
down at her arm expectantly. Within seconds she could already see her skin began
to turn bright purple. Spreading down her arm and even tinting her finger
nails. Excited she looked around for anything that could show her reflection.
Finding the glass of the window, Kitty chuckled at her purple tinted self
smiling back at her. Posing and smiling back before making a kissing face and continuing
to walk down the hallways.
“Heh, funny, I wonder if anyone else drank the stuff.”
Making her way down the hall, Kitty continued to sip from her drink, passing by
other students and teachers and getting quite the reaction from everyone as she
waved back and continued down to the living room of the mansion. While she
drank, she rolled her shoulders, her cloths felt… Tight suddenly. Had she been
aware of it she would have noticed her skin turning scaly. Scratching her hair,
her scalp felt itchy, bumps starting to form just above her forehead. Nearly
half finished with her drink she finally found her friends in the living room
watching television, waving back at her and laughing at her purple colour.
“Oh mah god Kitty, what happened to ya?” Asked Rogue, barely
holding back laughter as she stared at the purple young woman.
“Yes Kitty, that’s… very unflattering.” Snickered Storm, a
hand to mouth to hide her smirk.
“Ha ha, its this new soft drink we got in the vending
machines.” Wiggling the soda can between her fingers to show it off to the
others, Kitty finished off her soda. The moment she did a rush flowed through
her. Suddenly the tightness in her cloths couldn’t be ignored anymore when she
heard her shoes burst open, looking down she felt and saw her toes grow longer
and thicker, splaying out until they outgrew her shoes and held her up on lengthening
ankles. Now standing on saurian claws, Kitty staggered back when she felt the
sides of her jeans burst, her legs bulking up. “Wha… What the hell?” Arching
her back, little bumps could be felt forming down her back before piercing
through the fabric of her blouse. A purple blush formed on her scaly cheeks
when the back of her pants split open to free a growing tail that shot out
behind her and grew to be as long as she was tall. The bumps forming on her
scalp could be ignored no longer as they shot out to over a foot in length out
of her scalp, becoming four dark purple horns that crowned her face, a face that
was changing and pushing forward to become a reptilian muzzle. Pressing up
against the wall, Kitty grew taller, thicker, larger. Her hands now sported
dark purple claws and her blouse already lost the battle trying to contain her
growing frame and her breasts which had decided to balloon from modest Cs to
attention demanding Gs! Little spikes continued to form on her forearms, back
and tail, while her neck lengthened and thickened.
Blinking back at the sight, the X-Men looked on at the
growing purple lizard woman in front of them, wondering when it would stop.
