Slumping their shoulders and looking to each other, the
group of monsters began to huddle up and whisper to each other. “This sucks! Leave
it to ol’one eye Nick to kill the mood.” Sulked Frank, scratching at his chest.
Valaria pressed up against his side with the same pout. “And I’m still hungry
too…”
“Oh don’t worry, he’s just stamping his feet, if we play
along he’ll just give us a lecture and toss us back out again.” Waved Ben. “He’s
done it before, just give him an hour… Two tops.”
“Yeah, know him he’ll just go Blah blah blah responsibility

Smirking and giving her husband a playful hip bump, Susan
looked to the others who all agreed without saying a word. Turning back around
and giving the SHIELD agent the most innocent smile, her fanged snout can give,
Susan Storm handed the glowing orange rock to the SHIELD troops and raised all
four of her hands over her horned head. The others doing the same with the same
smile. “OK Fury, we give up.” She chirped.
“Good!” Leaning over to speak to one of his agents, Nick
Fury whispered out of hearing range of the monsters. “Check inside if we’ve got
cuffs big enough for them, pretty sure we got some Hulk sized cuffs just in
case.”
Within an hour, the monsters were carted onto ships heading
back to the Heli carrier, while several agents boxed the glowing stone and
carried it back with them. Sitting without a fuss with several armed guards
keeping an eye on them on the transport, Reed leaned down, stretching his neck
to meet one of the guards shakingly holding a rifle to his head. “Hey… Uhm… What’s
the dinner menu like up on the Heli-carrier?”
Lowering his gun and looking at the stone in the glass
crate, the guard and everyone else in the transport suddenly felt hungry,
rubbing their stomachs. “I don’t know…” Answered the SHIELD agent. “But I’d
sure like to find out.”
