“Lighthope!” She-Ra called, “Lighthope!”
“Come in She-Ra,” the column of light appeared in the
middle of the central room, “I know why you are here… There is no saving
Etheria as it is now… But there is hope… With the combined powers of the
Crystal Castle and the Castle of Greyskull we can make portals to take the people
and animals of Etheria.”
“How?” She-ra asked.
“Man-At-Arms will know how,” Lighthope responded, “For
now send word to all of the villages and people of Etheria!”
“What about you?” She-Ra asked, “Will you come with
us? What about the Crystal Castle?”
“Do not worry She-Ra,” Lighthope said, “All will be well
for the castle.”

Adam barged into the workshop.
“Man-At-Arms!” Adam shouted, “The Sorceress needs us
right away!”
“I know,” Duncan the Man-At-Arms said, “We will go in a
second, I need to bring the portable controls to Transporter Beam.”
“Why the controls?” Adam asked.
“I don’t know, the Sorceress told me to bring it,” Duncan
said.
*
“She-Ra, I must summon Queen Angela, Castaspella and
Madame Raz,” Lighthope pronounced, “They will be critical to help take people
to safety…”
“Do whatever you must Lighthope,” She-Ra tried to keep
confidence in her voice, “I will go with Swift Wind to warn the others…”
“Not yet,” Lighthope’s word halted the heroine, “You
should be here for this historic occasion!”
*
“We are here Sorceress!” Man-At-Arms called as he and
Prince Adam entered the throne room of the castle.
“Come this way!” the sorceress’ voice echoed from down a
hall, “Please come.”
Adam and Man-At-Arms went down the hallway to the door
way to Etheria.
“What is it Sorceress,” Adam spoke up, “Is there trouble
on Etheria?”
“Yes Adam,” the Sorceress said, “They are all in danger
and need our help… Stand back, what we are about to do has never been attempted
before!”
The door guarding the mystical passage way and the room
around them changed… The walls faded in and out until they became a pink star
field In front of them was She-Ra and the leaders of the Great Rebellion,
Queens Angela and Castaspella… But behind them was a massive pillar of light.
“She-Ra!” Adam called.
“Adam?” She-Ra turned around.
“What is going on?” Adam asked the Sorceress.
“Let Lighthope explain the danger,” the Sorceress simply
said.
“A period of great darkness is falling upon Etheria,” The
pillar of light pulsed with each syllable, “In the sky’s above a devastating weapon
has been used by the Horde… There is no time, no heroics nor magic that will
stop it. The planet of Eternia as it is,
is doomed… But if the people and samples of plants and animals from Eternia can
be safely transported to other places they will be able to return to a world
reborn as a paradise… If they can find refuge… “
“We would gladly take them here on Eternia!” Adam stepped
forward.
“Prince Adam,” She-Ra said, “There are too many, and some
might not want to leave even for the year the rebirth will take. They would rather die here with their homes
than to leave.”
“Is that what you are planning to do?” Man-At-Arms put a
hand on Adam’s shoulder, “Lighthope is it?
You said they needed passage to other worlds… Is that why I was called?”
“Is this Duncan?
The Father?” Lighthope’s question boomed across the merged rooms.
“He is Duncan, he raised the child Teela,” The Sorceress
spoke up.
“To raise a child is a noble act Duncan,” Lighthope said,
“We must call upon your machines to help the magics of this world to save as
many as we can, we have but a short time.
No more than a Week before the shroud of darkness comes to consume this
world…”
“What must I do?” Man-At-Arms asked.
“Find and map passages across the stars and universes to
safety for Eternia!” Lighthope called, “Queens give him the key to your
castles!”
The tall winged woman stepped forward and handed Duncan a
crystal stone and the red haired woman handed him another crystal.
“These will allow you to find the locations of the
Castles Brightmoon and Enchanted castles,” the pillar informed them, “Please
hurry!”

Hordak walked out to the gathered lieutenants. Some of them were fighting with the officers
of the Fleet. From the shouting he knew
what it was about.
“Kutless, would you please order your crew to recover
their animals,” Hordak said calmly.
“Of course,” the cyborgnetic Demon smiled.
“My Warriors!” Hordak shouted, “Etheria will be ours
again! But for now, we return to Eternia
for conquest!”

Evil-Lyn handed the glass to Skeletor and smiled as she
swirled the wine around in the glass. She
smiled as Skeletor brought the glass up to his face and paused. The liquid in the crystal goblet pulsed
bright green.
“Such a waste of perfectly good wine Evil-Lyn,” Skeletor
snickered, “Too bad I had thought of that trick.”
Evil-Lyn stormed off.
