Johanna sat in the apartment… far from being dressed in some sexy number she sat on her couch in a loose fitting tee-shirt, shorts and wool socks.  She looked at the picture on the wall. It was a shot of her and the allied international team from the summer of forty-two… Johanna smiled and frowned at the Americans in the image; Lieutenant Dugan, Sergeants Fury and Barnes, the boy Rogers was watching the British Agent Peggy Carter while trying not to show it.  So many memories, That was when she had met Fury for the first time and the next day she had been given her first prototype of the new MKb or Maschinenkarabiner, or Automatic Carbine as the Americans would say… until that silly politician came up with the catchy “Assault Weapon” label to scare people. It was also when she had met her lifelong friend Nick Fury.  Now she would call his command again.

“Sean Connery in his youth reminded me so much of you,” Johanna mused for a second thinking of the spy thriller character and the spy master.

The laptop connected to the encrypted network and the video chat program opened.  It was funny to watch the predictions from so long ago coming true, but in such vastly different ways.

“Thank you for contacting shield,” the rotund American in the suit said as his camera feed came on, “Oh Captain Germany! What can I do to help you?”

“I have encountered someone…” Johanna worked to speak coherent English, “I need to access your register index of powered Uber people.”

“Oh, the Superhuman index,” the agent smiled.

Johanna could tell he was eyeing her bosom under the pink tee-shirt.  Men always eyed her chest.

“Let me transfer you over to the interface.  Good luck with your project,” the agent smiled.

Johanna looked over at the picture again as the laptop went about changing connections and linking up to the Index.

“He’s got eyes for you,” Elizabeth “Betsy” Ross said looking at the French commando, “Funny, a Frenchman eyeing the Perfect German Maiden.”

“He isn’t looking at me,” Johanna rolled her eyes, “He watching pants of the Captain Britain…”

Johanna was struggling with the English so many of the new Allies spoke.  While so many things were lost in translation, it wasn’t hard for her to figure out what they were intending to say.

“French, no.  Canadian…” Johanna looked at the paratrooper from the Canadian Airborne Regiment.

“Oh honey,” Betsy said as her face blushed slightly, “I have seen that look before… He wouldn’t be a romantic date.”

“Romance? Nein.  But if I wanted act of love…” Johanna frowned at the man, “Ja, he would be more than willing.”

“Mister Badger’s drunken Nephew,” Betsy smiled to herself.

Johanna furled her brow in confusion.

“From the Mister Toad books?” Betsy asked.

Johana looked at the blonde haired, blue eyed American with confusion.

“English books were all the typical English countryside residents are English Countryside animals, Mister Badger is a prim and proper gentleman,” Betsy said.

“And that one would be the violent village drunk,” Johanna sneered.

“Bingo,” Betsy smiled.

She was rather pretty when she smiled Johanna thought.

“Don’t read too much into it,” Betsy’s smile hardened, “I will be married to my husband when the war is over.”

Johanna knew that was coming but didn’t expect the next line.

“Doesn’t mean we girls can’t have the occasional fun right?”

The screen came back to a rather revolting and unexpected sight.

“I’m Varney the Vampasourus!” the Purple cartoon dinosaur with fangs and a cape greeted Johanna, “And Yes I was created specifically by Tony Start for Shield…  How van I velp you?”

“Oh Tony Stark,” Johanna muttered in German before trying to continue in English, “I spotted a possible Ubber-man.  Taller than one point six meters but shorter than one point nine meters.  Thin, Couldn’t weigh more than forty kilograms. Was pale and had glowing red eyes.  Hunched over in a hooded coat, so I couldn’t see most of the face but I could see the glow of the eyes.  Walked backwards almost as if… on skates?  Had glowing red eyes. Most of the face was obscured by the brown hood but they had a sharp chin, it wasn’t a prostatic.  The cloths were oversized and loose to hide if it was a man or a woman.  Pants were older style wool work pants, brown in color. Leather work type gloves hid the hands.  Brown wool hooded coat with a blue grey single breasted uniform jacket with brass buttons but no embossing and a patch on the shoulder about the size of a playing card, black bordered with red field.  Security was written in English and Czech. English at the top and Czech at the bottom.  In the middle was a yellow circle about three centimeters in diameter with two black stripes and three dots running horizontal. The coat also had wide black cuffs.”

“Lets vind your new veind!” the CGI monster spoke up, “Searching, Searching, please vand by.”

The Screan went dark and then the system ringed to denote the communication was being rerouted to a call terminal.

“Vello?” a Blond woman with blue eyes said looking at her computer screen confused.

Johanna cursed under her breath, in German.

“Where was your sighting Agent... Schmidt?  Johanna Schmidt?” the Blonde’s eyes flew open in wonder, “So Hauptman Germany is seeing vampires now too!  I must have your location before Eric shows up… You don’t want Blade in your cities.  Wait till my uncle hears about this!”
