Despite their discretion the coming wedding came to the pointy ears of the man better known as the Batman. In fact the Dark Knight, surprised by Diana recent attitude and worried for her, was investigating to be sure that nothing bad was happening to his colleague. A night Wonder Woman received a call for help by Batman that made her left Tony's flat. If Batman was calling for help it meant that he was in critical situation. And despite the changes in her life Diana could not let a friend like Batman in a dangerous situation. Tony was totally ok with that. He was no longer the bad man he had been. So mighty amazon went to Gotham as fast she could.
Few minutes after she was gone Tony saw a massive shadow looking at him while he was in bed. I did not have the time to scream, a spray of gas made him felt unconscious. He was awakened by the fresh wind of the night. He was attached by his ankles at the submit of big building. He screamed of fear. He then heard the frightening voice of the Batman.
- What did you do to her!
- I did nothing! Nothing! I love her and she loves me!
The Dark Knight shook the cable making Tony scream again.
- What did you do to her!
- Nothing I swear.
- Liar! You are staying here until you talk.
Kilometers farther in Gotham Wonder Woman was surprised to meet Zatanna and the Martian Manhunter but no Batman where the Dark Knight asked her to come.
- Where is Batman?
The Martian answered.
- Not here. He asked us to test you to ensure you were not on mental or magic domination.
Zatanna added.
- He told us you would know why.
Diana was angry but she tried to hide it.
- So?
Both answered.
- You are not under any domination.
A minute later, Batman, who was waiting for to Tony to talk, received a radio call. It was Zatanna.
- Diana is totally in control of herself. She told us she is coming at you and not pleased at all.
Batman took the pimp in the roof without a word. Tony had wetted his underpants. When Diana found them he was relieved to see her. She looked very angry.
- He loves me and I love him. Is it so hard to understand?
- It is.
- Spare me the princess of the amazons and the champion of virtue shit. I'm tired of these.
The Dark Knight did not answered.
- Tony has decided to live an honest live because of his love for me.
The former pimp nodded.
- I want to deserve her love, I swear.
There was a minute of silence and the Batman said to Tony.
- I keep an eye on you.
Tony and Diana got married in a very small ceremony with few people in the assistance. Soon after they moved to a city not far from Gotham where the Wayne Foundation had a program to help former criminals to become honest citizen. Tony proved to be among the most willing members of the program and among the most intelligent too. Tina joined the same program and did well too. Wonder Woman was less seen but she continued to occasionally help other heroes.
