Grant Ward nervously paced in the hallway of a suburban high school watching Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons read data from the various devices that they had set up. He checked his cell phone and still was not getting any signal. These SHIELD phones were never
supposed to lose signal. But with the strange disappearances in the area, he was not going to leave FitzSimmons alone. Coulson and May could handle themselves and Skye was safe in the SHIELD plane. Fitz and Simmons were clearly the weak link in the field at
this point.
As Ward was staring at his phone, an alarm went off on one of Fitz's devices.
"What's going on Fitz?"
"I'm getting a distress signal from from the car that we left on the plane. It's coming from a medical testing lab just outside of town."
"Guys, pack up, I'm going to drop you off back at the plane and then go check out the scene were the distress call is coming from."
The two lab rats quickly packed up their gear and Ward drove them to the SHIELD plane. After a quick security sweep, he drove toward the distress signal.
Fitz and Simmons began to unpack all of their gear in the onboard lab to analyze all of the data from the high school. They heard the plane's hatch opening and assumed Ward had forgotten something when he left. They turned and saw two men dressed in black
pointing guns at them
"You two are coming with us, Mr Killgrave is waiting to meet you."

Grant Ward jumped out of his vehicle when he arrived at the Killgrave Corp building. He saw the other Acura MDX abandoned in the parking lot. He grabbed his service pistol and ran through the front doors of the med lab.
He was greeted by a tall man in a purple suit, "Agent Ward, my name is Zebediah Killgrave, and I'd like you to put your gun away."
Ward placed his pistol back in the holster.
"Now Agent Ward, you are going to forget what you saw here and return to the plane. When you arrive, you are going to call SHIELD HQ and request Natasha Romanoff and Maria Hill both respond to your location. When they arrive, you are to bring them to me."
Ward turned around and started to drive back to the plane.
