Ben and Johnny waited at the Bed of the still unconscious Susan and waited for further information. The Building was under the Lockdown and nothing went in or out. Shield was informed about a routine Test of the Lockdown Sequence and so no Special Forces team had stormed the Building until now. Finally Capt. America entered the room and looked at both of the Team Members.
“Steve! If you don’t tell me at once what is going on than I have to say that it is clobbering time! And you don’t want me to say that!” Ben said angry but Steve raised his hands.
“Don’t worry Ben. I will inform you about the Situation right now. Sadly it seems that the Purple Man had planned another Evil Scheme on you and this time he had worked much more subtle than ever before. We don’t know his goals for now but right now it seems that he had focused on Susan and Reed Richards. We must ask you two to undergo a fully medical Check. We have scanned Susan already and found some of the Pheromones of him in her Bloodstream. Reed is under the Scanner right now. His Lab Assistant will be going in too.”
“And who says that you aren’t under his thrall?” a hot boiled Johnny said and earned an angry look from the legendary Hero.
“Nobody said that Johnny. And because of the fact that Tony and I were exposed to the Particles as well both of us will go into the Scanner too. There will be always two of your team outside the Scanner and one of our Team. I think this should be a fair deal right Johnny?” the way he talked to Johnny he immediately felt like a little Boy.
“ÄH… sure… Captain… Sorry. It is just because…”
“Don’t worry Johnny. Everything will be ok but there are things that Reed should say you. I fear that you all will have a rough time before you. Your Sister will need her family more than ever now. But maybe she will need you to leave for some time. I won´t say anything about her situation if she isn’t fine with it, but you have to understand that it is her decision what the best is for her. As to the fact that we were called from the AI of this Building we will stay here until we are sure that you are all ok. And as long as we need to be sure that you are acting on your own free will. I had a long talk with Tony about this Situation. Normally we had to inform SHIELD about the whole Situation but this time I think Tony is right. We should keep this a Secret until we find out that it is too big for us to handle. But the decision is yours. After you are informed about everything you will decide. And now I have to ask you as a friend… Would you follow me peacefully into the Scanner or do I have to use force?” he asked but both Freedom Fighters nodded and followed him peacefully.
They trusted him and if he was right there would be a good reason for their actions. As they met all in the Lab they saw that Jarvis and Roberta both scanned each other while they took control over the Scanner. This Situation had a little bit paranoia in it but they head learned the hard way that Purple Man was a dangerous foe. First Ben entered the Camber and Reed and Tony looked over Roberta´s and Jarvis action. Both of them nodded simultaneous as they saw both of the AI worked without any failure. Red and blue lights moved over Bens Body and on the Screens there were a list of all his vitals. After 5 Minutes all the Data proved that he wasn’t dosed with any of the Purple Man Pheromones and that his Brain Pattern was OK. Then Tony entered it and Reed waited away from the Keyboards. He wanted to show Steve that he was standing behind their actions. As suspected there were small Doses of the Pheromones on his Suit and even in his lung, but in such a small dose that they weren’t dangerous. As soon as Johnny saw the Data he was screaming that this was a Trap and that the Avengers were under the Effect but Reed informed him that both Steve and Tony were exposed small doses of the Pheromones as they moved inside the Building. He showed him how Tony had filtered the Air after he found it out and Johnny was silent again. One after another moved into the Scanner until only Gina was left.
As soon as she entered it the scanners moved into the red section and showed a high rate of the Pheromones. Both Johnny and Ben were shocked to see it but Reed, Steve and Tony didn’t seemed to be surprised. In fact they looked almost better now.
“Why are you looking so damn happy? She is one of our friends! How can you be happy that she is under his evil influence?!” Ben said angry and Reed answered him lowly.
“I fear I won’t be happy for a long time Ben. But this reading proved her Story. And we have a long talk before us... There are things you need to know about me. Things I never wanted to do but… one thing lead to the next… and Purple Man had played a perfect Match this time. If it wasn’t for Roberta and our Friends here…. Maybe… the Fantastic Four would be defeated right now… Dead or even worse.”
“What could be worse than dead?” Johnny asked and Susan said weakly.
“We could be humiliated to maximum brother.” She had managed to get out of the Bed and greeted her Friends. As soon as she saw them she started to Cry again and Johnny and Ben hugged her wandering why Reed stood there so out of order and looked to the ground.
“Tony… Steve... if you wouldn’t mind… I think it is time that we talk with each other alone… Gina… I know that you saved me… but… in this meeting I don’t want to see you!” Susan said. Nobody could say if she was angry at the Woman or grateful.
As all of the Fantastic Four met in one Room all details were laid open. Susan didn’t hide one thing to her friends and told them about the life on the Street and the Drugs. The only thing she didn’t say was the name of Slick. She knew that both Ben and Johnny would kill him instantly for what he had done to her. Also did Reed explained his relationship with Gina as best as he could. He was sure now that the Purple Man had imitated this relationship but also explained that out of this evil scheme something bigger was created. He and Susan didn’t say much to each other, knowing that the Situation wasn’t the best for some excuses.
As the four left the Room they all looked depressed right now and felt 100 years older. They knew that the Fantastic Four were on the edge of extinction this time and multiple Emotions caused their depression.
“Okay Tony. What do us now?” asked Steve as he sat in the Kitchen. They hadn’t had time to debate the next steps right now but they couldn’t let the Building in Lockdown forever.
“I would say we two stay here as guard. We will make sure that Reed and Susan won´t do anything stupid. I will talk with them about this Idea. In my opinion it is the best for them to stay away from each other for a few days, maybe a few weeks, until Susan is stable again.
“Yeah. She seems to be very instable right now. Never saw her like that. If I wouldn’t know her better than I would almost say that she hates me.”
“You cannot understand that Steve. You had never Problems with Alcohol or Drugs. You are a Red Flag for her right now. You represent everything she was before this Events and now you are a Mirror that shows her what she had lost. I understand her very well. I had my own Problems with these things. Give her time to get over the Drugs and the withdrawal symptoms.”
“You´re right Tony. I will stay with Reed and so I can keep this Rodriguez on the Watch.”
“You don’t trust her? We saw the Scanner Data. She is full of the Pheromones. It is almost sure that she was under his influence. It isn’t like she could create his Pheromones herself you know?”
“I know that Tony. But I don’t trust her. Call it an Intuition or a sixth sense. I don’t know. I only think that she didn’t tell us everything. And where is Purple Man? How could he had such a great Influence of here without being close at her?”
“I give this one to you. He had to be close to her. And this could only mean he is in this Building somewhere. I would say we send Ben and Johnny searching the Building. Both of them should be very motivated to find him.”
“Will they kill him?” Steve asked and Tony thought about it for a long time
“I hope not.”
Half an hour later Ben and Johnny moved, armed with the best Scanners available and Gas Masks out of the Penthouse to search the whole Building and even the Subway beneath it. Reed and Susan had agreed that it would be a good idea to settle things before they should talk with each other. Tossing a coin the Luck was on Steve’s Side. He had the first 5 hours with Susan and would move then to Reed.
Susan didn’t seemed to be so happy about this but couldn’t say anything against it. She sat on her bed and felt her body arching in the need of a new Shot. Her stupid dream hat been that realistic that she felt almost high. But the effect wore off damn fast and now the withdrawal was worse than before. And to her horror she had to spend 5 hours with Mr. Perfect America and Mr. Super Prude.
“Susan. I cannot image how you feel right now.” Steve said as he offered her a glass Water that she took silently.
“”Oh great. Here comes the Predict about my stupidity.”” She thought but much to her surprise Steve said something else.
“I too fight my little demons each day since I was transformed into this!” He showed down on him at his Suit.
“TRANSFORMED into THIS!? COME on Steve! IT WAS YOU’RE WISH TO DO IT!” she said angry but he only looked at her.
“I wanted to fight for my Land, to defend the People I loved… Do you really think I wanted to be the Moral Ideal of a whole Country for the rest of my life?”
Susan looked up and starred at him. Did he want to make a fun of her? What was he talking about?
“I fought in the World War 2 not only against Hydra and the Nazi´s. I tried to fight the growing Idea that I was America. I am maybe a Super Soldier but I am still a normal Man grown in Brooklyn. I never wanted to be like this for the rest of my life. But as I died they made me to a Legend. Can you image how hard it is to be a living Legend? How it is to always be like everyone else sees you?”
Susan only know too well about this feeling but she couldn’t say what he wanted to hear. But a small part of her wanted to know what the real Steve was.
“What…. I mean… what you would have done when you had returned home?” she asked and he smiled at her for a short time.
“Promise me that you won’t laugh at me?”
She nodded and he said.
“I would have spent all my Money for a Harley Davidson. A 1936 EL Knucklehead! This was a great Bike! Then I would drive all day long the Route 66 up and down! You know. Only my Bike, my Girl and the Sunset.” He looked into his glass of water and smiled sadly.
“But now I am Capt. America more than I am Steve Rogers. Trust me. I know how you feel right now. You think that your life as a Hero is way too big for you right now. That it is so much easier to turn your back at all this restrictions of this Life. That it looks like a golden cage now… but that isn’t true Susan. We are both strong minded and loyal to our believes. I know that you are a great Person and that you will find your way!”
Susan was impressed. She tried to image Steve on a Bike with a hot Biker Babe behind him but somehow it didn’t really worked. Then she tried to think of herself behind him, giving him a hot Hand job while they rode over the Streets and smiled at that thought. Steve misunderstood her smiling and smiled too. “And what would you do if I would really turn my back to this Life and go back to the Streets?” she said only to mock him. He had deserved it.
“Then I would pay to visit you!” he said and saw Susan split out the Water she had drunk right now. Thinking about what he had said right now he got red and said fast.
“I mean! I would pay to visit you... but not to sleep with you! I Mean! I would... I meant I would pay the price just to visit you! That we could stay friends and so.”
She smiled at him and starred at his eyes.
“Somehow I cannot image Capt. Steve Rogers inside a Brothel…. But trust me! If I really would do something like that… I would do it for the Money and you would be welcome in my rooms.” And in her mind she added.
“And you arrogant Liar would be the first who would had a hard on if you could see me in my Work Dress! I bet I could get you down on your knees on your free will just to kiss my boots! Asshole!”
Somehow this picture was in her mind and it somehow aroused her. But now Steve changed to Smalltalk and made sure that she had everything she needed. The talking to him helped her a bit to withstand the withdrawal and she even tried to pose a bit for him, but he didn’t react on this. But she knew now that deep inside him there was a Biker and after 3 weeks on the street she knew that Bikers loved to screw a sexy slut!
While Ben and Johnny were out of the way searching the Building Tony gave Gina and Reed a couple of Minutes. He knew that he should look after them but right now he felt that they had a lot to talk about. Moving to the refrigerator and peeked inside. There was a good amount of Bier in it and some Wine. Shortly he looked at the Beer but then he took a Coke. This Situation was getting out of hand he noticed. He informed Jarvis that he should send a message to Pepper but thanks to the Lockdown he wasn’t able to talk to her personally. So he had to keep control alone. Normally Pepper was his helping hand in such situations and she gave him the strength to withstand the Alcohol. He simply hoped that this wouldn’t take all too long
While Tony was out of the Room Roberta shut the Room Scanners down and Jarvis did understand the need for privacy in this Situation. The fact that Tony had left too made this decision easy for the AI.
“I didn’t want that this all would happen Gina… Really… I would never thought that you were forced to do all this.”
“Maybe I was forced at the beginning Reed, but out of this our love grew to something bigger. I am sure now that he just wanted me to fuck you and maybe blackmail you with it… but the time showed that he had given us both a present didn’t he?”
“Yes…” He took her hand and smiled at her. “But I hope you understand that I have to be there for Susan right now. We have to walk this road together now and even if I fear that this is the end of our Marriage I have to help her in this hard Time!”
This was the last thing that Gina needed. A care taking Reed that helped Susan to come to her senses. No. She needed him to show her to cold side so that she was driven away from him even more. But she hadn´t the time to invade his dreams and to do it on her normal way. But thanks to Roberta she had still other Abilities. While all the Scanners only searched for Particles of Purple Mans Pheromones no scanner was available to detect the Power of the Mandarin. Holding her Hand she had made it possible to manipulate his thought, but she didn’t know how much time she had to archive her next step so she wanted to use the maximum and force she had to offer.
She stroked his Hand laying in her other hand and smiled at him softly. She focused her Powers and manipulated the Chemical Substance of her Skin and said softly.

“But we are in the Lockdown Tony. I know the Rooms quite good and right now I want to stay inside this Bedroom!” she said but Tony just ignored her and pulled her out of the Bed. She had no other Option than to follow him and soon she noticed where he wanted to go. The Main Training Room.
“Tony! If this is a stupid Joke of you I am not in the Mood to have a training Session right now!”
But as soon as the door opened she saw not the usual Structure of the VR Room but a detailed version of the city Venice.
“I had to guess some of the details but I think it is a good Idea don’t you think too?”
For the first time she had to smile as she saw the City and that at least someone really cared about her. In her dreams he had been the best lover of her life and now she regretted it that she had said no to him years ago. Who would have guessed that this day ever would come?
