As Steve left the Room he was exhausted and could barely move. Even his superior Endurance wasn’t enough to satisfy 40 Woman without feeling the Effect on him too. But he felt good and was happy that had a few hours of normal Life. But now, after hours of Fun, he was concerned about the Security of the Building again. Roberta informed him about the Test that Reed and Gina did with Ben. Roberta informed him that this very complex Experiment could maybe help Ben to be a Human again. Susan was inside the Main Lobby of the Penthouse and was sleeping a deep slumber. He didn’t knew that Susan was full of Drugs again and enjoyed the Trip until she had fall asleep on the Couch. Only the Serum from Reed had protected her from serious Side-Effects of this latest Trip. She had tried the Serum for the First Time and had tested a mix of different Drugs this time. It would take hours until she would recover enough to wake up. Even when the Serum could protect her Body from the dangerous Effects of the Drugs the physical stress was still powering her out. After all the Serum wasn’t meant to be used like this.
Tony moved to the Roof and looked over the City as he saw Tony Stark flew towards his position. As his friend deactivated his Thrusters both of them looked at each other. It was too early for the Change but they used the Time to talk about what they should do now. Tony informed him that his CEO Pepper had arranged the fusion of Stark Industry and the Fantastic Four Corporation. It would be the biggest High Tech Company on this Planet and Steve knew that it was a great Idea. Together Reed and Tony could create numerous Wonders for the Mankind. Maybe they could even create a Golden Age of Mankind.
Just while they talked about the Avengers and what would happen to them suddenly an Energy Beam hit the Building and both of the Heroes went to the ground unconscious. The Attacker levitated a few Feet over them and looked down at them.
A few hours before.
Ms Marvel flew over the City on her Patrol and it was one of these Days were nothing happened. She used the time to think about the Events in Latveria and Europe. 4 hours ago Dr. Doom had conquered the last edge of the former Slovenia and now it was a Part of his own Land. The United Nation hadn´t send any troops to interfere with Doom´s Army of Robots and Dr. Doom had told the World that he would speak in front of the UN in a couple of Days to explain his Actions. For some Reasons the Press had reacted very good about his War against the Drug and Warlords of the Country and that his Robots had help to enforce the Law inside the Warzone. But most of the Heroes weren’t so sure that Doom had done this to help the People. It was true that Slovenia wasn’t a rich Land and it had almost nothing someone like Doom needed.
A sudden Sound brought her back to the current Situation as she looked down on a Back Robbery in Progress. It wasn´t something big, but it was just the kind of Action she could need now. Changing the course of her Flight she entered the Bank a few seconds after the Alarm had been activated. The three Robbers were just in the Progress to take down the Guards. For an Avenger it was only a matter of Seconds to take them down and as the last Villain crushed into the Wall she smiled down at them.
“6 Seconds to end this! A new Record!” she smiled at the scared Civilians around her. But as she looked around she saw one Men with a strange Hat on his Head. On this Hat was a whirling Disc that captured her Eyes the Second she looked at him. The evil grin on the Men´s face was something she didn’t even notice any longer.
“Very good Ms. Marvel. Now that I have your Attention… You will do what I tell you.”
“Yes Master.” The helpless Heroine said monotone.
“You will go to the Baxter Building. No that half of the Team is away or busy it will be easy for you to get into the Building and get me Reed Richards Database! You will do whatever is necessary to bring me the Data!”
“Yes Master.” Carol Denver´s said as she flew away. Deep inside her Body she Carol tried to fight the Hypnotic Command of the Ringmasters Hat but it was a Battle that was in vain. He had tricked her and caught her off-guard this Time.
Meanwhile.
Carol levitated over Tony and Steve and looked down as both of them get on their Feet again.
“Carol? Why are you attacking us?” Steve asked but thanks to his Reflexes he could get his Shield up before the Fist of Carol would take him down again. The Vibranium Shield absorbed all of her Kinetic Energy and with a quick Sweeper Steve was able to take her down. His Battle Reflexes kicked in and he sprang away from her just before she could shoot him with one of her energy Blasts.
“Steve! Her Brainwave Data is not normal! She is under the Influence of the Ring Master.” We have to take her out!” Tony said after his Armour had scanned Carol and hidden behind his Shield Steve smiled.
“Nothing easier than that! Shall we call for Backup?” he asked and thanks to the Adrenaline in his Body powered up fast enough to reach his Maximum in a few Seconds. Caron was a strong Avenger and had a wide set of different Powers. But it was possible for both of them to take her down alone.
“Where are the Fantastics?” Tony asked.
“Susan is still KO and Reed is in a very complex Experiment. I don´t think they can help us here now!” Steve said evading Carol’s attacks with wide Jumps. His Combat Skills were much better than hers and with Tony´s help both of them stood on a good ground against her. As soon as Jarvis and Roberta used the Building´s own Defense Systems the Battle turned towards the Avengers. Not even Carol could fight against Roberta´s Weapons and two Avengers at the same Time. 5 Minutes after the first Attack she laid on the Ground and the immense Pain broke the Spell of the Ringmaster over her Mind.
“Tony? Steve? What is going on here!? Where am I?” she asked confused and Steve explained her what had happened. As soon as Coral had recovered she flew away and Steve smiled at Tony and put out 10 Dollars.
“I bet ten Bucks that Ringmaster is in Jail within 30 Minutes.”
Tony smiled and nodded. “20 Minutes or shorter! But this is something very important…. I fear that after the Fusion of the Companies this Building will be a prime Target.”
“Yes…. And I think you need the best possible Security Team that you can get!” Steve said and looked at the City under him. Tony was right. This Building would soon be a prima Target for everyone. The Scientists from Stark inside the Baxter Building? Reed´s Super Computers and his Mind combined with Starks Technology?
“I will lead the Security Team of this Building!” he suddenly said and Tony stared at him.
“What do you mean Steve?”
“I will take a break from the Avengers. You said that you will have to work for the Company for a while and won´t be able to play Iron Man too. And as I said before. You need the best possible Team for the Security of this Building. I will personally build up a Team and lead it until they can act on their own! What do you say about this?”
