Spider-Man was no fool. He knew what
the six glowing gems in the yellow gauntlet were.
The problem was, he wasn't sure what
he should do with them.
The Infinity Gauntlet, the ultimate
power, lay on the bed, Spider-Man himself clinging to the ceiling,
staring down at it.
“With great power, comes great
responsibility...” Spider-Man said. “But am I ready for this
responsibility? The Gauntlet was given to me for a reason...”
He paced around the ceiling fan,
thinking out loud.
“I should just take it to Reed
Richards or somebody who knows what they're doing...” he said.
“That'd be the safest option.” He stared down at the Gauntlet.
“...On the other hand, I could use it to have myself some fun. I
can always reset everything back to default later, and then do some
real improvements...”
Spider-Man stared a moment longer, and
shook his head. “Gah, this is frustrating...” he said. But he
needed to make his decision carefully. After all, if he put on that
Gauntlet, he'd be God...
