She reached up and touched the Mind Gem...feeling a bizarre...pressing against her brain. She...she rubbed her forehead as the Mind Gem reached down inside her...too much for her. Moondragon had barely been the gems equal, and for all her power...Emma was no Moondragon.

Emma Frost (who prefered to be called 'Emmy') returned from the beautician with a happy smile and a song on her lips. The Mind Gem had rather run roughshod over her - even to the point of slightly twisting her physical appearance. Gone were all her surgeries and enhancements. Her bosoms were a simple A-cup now, and without all her injections and botox...she looked much younger and less glamourious. Her hair was dyed a nice chesnut brown and permed slightly, giving it a warm, bouncy curliness. The gem couldn't make gross, drastic changes in her body...but it did change the slope and heft of her nose. The humble 'Star of David' pendant winked from around her neck, and her body was now concealed by a slightly fussy, off-the-rack skirt suit.
"Oh, Hi!" she chirped to Kitty Pryde as she passed the much younger mutant...who she rather looked like now. The younger mutant gaped at her...then seemed to pause. Her face underwent a change, as surgeries and collagen sculped her nose...plumped her lips. Her cheeks shifted, and her hair turned blond, straightened and set itself in Emma's old hairstyle. Her young body tightened yet also plumped, and her limbs became more shapely and her bosons swelled into eye-catching DD's. Her clothes became a sexy white leather corset, hipboots, opera gloves and fur-mantled cape. Her smiled grew cold...slightly contemptious...and a cigarette holder appeared in her hands. Kitty...
Katheryne Pryde smirked at the naive child-woman who skipped by. The meek and humble Emmy Frost. The worldly, sophisticated Katheryne Pryde. The White Cat and the Shadow Queen. They hardly had anything in common, yet...the Mind Gem drew them closer.
"Hullo, Emmy..." husked Katheryne, flicking ash from her cigarette. Her voice dripped with Mid-Atlantic sophistication. Her parents wouldn't approve of all the surgeries her 16-year old body had undergone, but she had manipulated simple Emmy into 'influencing' her wealthy father. At the same time, blushing and nerdy Emmy always had the vibrant Katheryne to tell her about how to talk to boys.
Meanwhile, Jean Grey...was having no problem working out with Logan. She had ALWAYS been obsessed with Japan - studying the language and speaking till she couldn't even speak English without an accent. She'd straightened her hair and wore it long. She worked out till her body was the toned, taught machine of a Ninja. Pale foundation, red lipstick and liquid eyeliner gave her a dramatic 'dragon lady' look, and her long red hair with it's bold purple highlites make her look so exotic. Dressed in her dark purple outfit, Kwannon Grey (she had long since abandoned the vanilla 'Jean') served the team as 'Revanche' - using her telekinetic powers to sculpt TK-Blades.
Logan gaped at the dangerious woman he now faced, saying "Hey, Jeanie? What's...what's going on?"
Revanche laughed and tossed her head with an arrogant laugh. "Oh, Logan...call me Kwannon. You know I can't STAND that..." her lips twisted in contempt "...ulgy Western name. Come. Let us finish our training. We can be in Tokyo by morning, if we hurry."
Meanwhile, Scott Summers was gaping at Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock-Summers. She was still asian, but her once sharp features were now softer and more open. Her thick purple hair was fuller, set in waves and sporting reddish highlites. "Why are you looking at me like that, Scott? You act like you've never seen your wife before. It's me...Phoenix."
