Peter stopped his crying as Mary jane rubbed his shoulders.
"It's okay Peter." MJ said.
"No, it isn't. I hate to say it, but there's a part of me that's glad he's dead, that the symbiote is finally destroyed." Peter admitted.
MJ could feel the rage from the symbiote boiling up inside of her. "Peter, you don't mean that."
"I do MJ. How many people have been hurt by Eddie Brock and that thing? No, it had to be done." Peter said.
MJ was now fighting an internal battle with the symbiote. It wanted to attack Peter, to make him pay.
Then a loud beep sounded in the room. "Avengers signal, I've got to go." Pete said, before pulling on his mask and jumping out the window.
And just like that, Mary Jane once again felt discarded, feeling like she was second fiddle to Peter's one true love, Spider-Man. The symbiote fed on her pain, her suffering.
He does not appreciate you...
"It's not that." Mary Jane said.
It is... He controls you... Keeps you at a distance...
'He just tries to protect me." MJ protested.
You are your own woman... How many times has he made you do things you did not want to do... Give up things you enjoyed...
A flood of memories flew through MJ's mind. Peter talking her out of acting and modeling. Peter telling her what to do all the time. Peter making her quit smoking.
The symbiote found its opening, and Mary Jane didn't put up a fight. The symbiote invaded every part of her body. The clothing the symbiote had become at her request now shifted into the full black Venom suit. It fit like a glove, hugging all of MJ's curves. It continued, covering her face, with the familiar look of Venom, teeth and tongue. There was an opening at the top however that let her fiery red hair flow freely.
"This feels...good. We feel good." Mary Jane/She-Venom said.
