Mark: It's a symbiote! I made it for you. If you bond with it, it will give you power and more beauty!
Laura: What? Why would I want to do that?
Mark: But I thought...
Laura: So who I am isn't enough for you? And you think that this weird purple slime will make me your dream girl?
Mark: No, that's not it. I just wanted to, you know, improve you, that's all.
The instant he opens his mouth, Mark realizes he's made a huge mistake.

Laura: You know what, Mark? Fuck your symbiote! And fuck you!
Laura tosses the container out the window, symbiote and all, and storms out of Mark's room.
Mark runs after Laura, but she's gone.
Mark: Goddamn it!
Then he realizes.
Mark: The symbiote!
Mark frantically runs downstairs and then outside to the area underneath his window. The cracked container is lying empty on the grass, and the symbiote is nowhere to be found.
Mark: Fuck! What do I do now?
