McGuffin Laboratories was a place where they stretched the normal laws of nature, as much as they could without violating any legal laws of nations. It also had a contract with the military to research any and all technology gather by the military, or more exactly from G.I.Joe, from Cobra. Reverse engineering the huge leaps which Cobra could take as a amoral organization, for better use by the U.S. government. Even if it would take them years to perfect or make up for rare parts.

 Which was why there was at least one Crimson Guard on site at all times. Even with the huge hurdles to jump to get a job there. The reward was worth the risk.

 It was also why there was also a monthly visit by G.I.Joe members to make sure that security was as strong as possible. Also when a new device was nearing completion, the G.I.Joes were encouraged to visit the site. As discouragement for Cobra.

 The Spies and the Soliders were going to clash as the latest invention was being finished...
