right, he'd have her reveal that something odd was going on at the
school.
With everyone trusting Sage, she'd be able to lead the remaining X-Men to the Corruptor one after the other.
He just had to get Sage under his grasp first.
"Of course I'm happy, it beats the Hellfire Club." She stated.
"But you're not just another X-Man, you're Sage." He responded, Sage wondered what he meant by that.
"You should be the second in command, not a foot soldier." He said.
That made a lot of sense to Tessa.

had helped Shaw in the Hellfire club, but she didn't feel like she was
invaluable to him and the X-Men clearly treated her as expendable, but
she wondered who exactly could she be second in command to.
"I'm
glad you asked, I'm the Corruptor and I think you'd be perfect as my

symbolically accept.
For a few moments, Sage weighed her options.
Ultimately the X-Men and the Hellfire Club had proven that they didn't need her, so her best bet was the Corruptor.

then gave her the plan and sent her off until it was time for
everything to be put into action (or until he had a few free hours and
