"Oh, thank goodness you're here! You need to take a look at this!" The apparent Batgirl quickly handed the Amazon princess her binoculars. 

Wonder Woman crouched down and looked in the direction that Batgirl had been facing and cringed when she saw what Batgirl had discovered. "Great Hera! This must be Dr. Psycho's new lab! I had heard rumors that he was up to something but was never able to confirm it. We need to alert the League. He can be very dangerous. Especially if he's had time to build new inventions. And judging by the looks of this complex, he's had some help!" 

Batgirl shook her head. "No, I don't think we need to. I've been looking the place over for the past several hours. Look at the left side of the building." Once Wonder Woman's head had turned in that direction, she heard Batgirl continue. "As you can see, there's a small opening. If the two of us work together, we can get in and clean up this whole mess." 

Wonder Woman shook her head. "This sounds too dangerous. I admire your courage, but I think we should call for back-up immediately" she said, suspecting that Batgirl's insistence  was just the young heroine wanting to prove that she was the "real deal." She caught just the slightest glimpse of anger flare up in Batgirl's eyes. 

"No, I think that we can do this. If you don't believe me, I'll just go in by myself. I need to free any hostages that Psycho has before he does something horrible to them!" 

Wonder Woman had no time to react as Batgirl jumped off of the rooftop and headed for the small opening in the side of the building. Without hesitating, Wonder Woman followed the acrobatic young woman, knowing that she may be the only think to keep her alive. Batgirl crawled through the small opening in the wall, with Wonder Woman right behind her. Eventually, the two came out in the middle of the same lab that the real Batgirl had found herself not long ago. But this time, there was a giant robot, remote controlled by Rosa, who was watching everything on a monitor in the next room. The robot grabbed wonder woman from behind and immobilized her. "Batgirl! Help me!" Wonder Woman yelled. 

"I've got you!" Batgirl exclaimed, jumping into action. However, rather than attempt to free the Amazon from the robot's clutches, the faux Batgirl, stole the lasso of truth from Wonder Woman's waste. In record speed, the robot released the disoriented Wonder Woman as Batgirl quickly tied the lasso around Wonder Woman's silver wristbands, binding them together. Immediately, Wonder Woman stopped struggling and lost all trace of emotion on her face. "Ahh, so it's true. If you're bracelets are bound together, you lose all free will."

Wonder Woman nodded without a word. 

"I'll have to keep that in mind. But fright now just tell me a little bit about the powers of your lasso." 

"If the lasso is wrapped around someone other than me, it will compel them to only speak the truth. They will also accept anything that the one speaking to them tells them as their truth." 

"That means that I can make them think what I want?" 

Wonder Woman nodded again. The fake Batgirl's smile widened. This just kept getting better. 

"Excellent" Psycho said as he looked at the machine which had been used to first transfer his consciousness into Batgirl's body. "Wonder Woman, please lay down on that table" she said, motioning to the machine. 

The Amazon did as she was asked without a word. Psycho followed her over to the machine and placed the transfer device on her head just as Rosa entered the room. "What would you like me to do, Doctor?" 

Psycho turned towards his lovely assistant and grinned evilly. "Well, now that Wonder Woman is here, I think the answer is obvious. You're going to make sure that I'm restrained and then swap me into her body so that the plan can truly move forward. Once that's done, I'll need you to remove the lasso WITHOUT SAYING A WORD TO ME. I don't want any of my thoughts to be jumbled thanks to a careless utterance. Once that's done, we'll figure out what to do with Batgirl here and then let our... partners in crime know that phase two has begun. Are we clear?" 

"As Crystal, Doctor" Rosa said, leading her mentor to the other machine and restraining Batgirl's body for a second time before heading to the controls of the machine. 

Doctor Psycho grinned from Batgirl's body. Now it was time for the real fun to begin...
