If Dee Dee’s goal is to turn woman into bimbos then Janet Van Dyne will be far less work then Sue Storm was.  The uptown fashionista came into the salon whining about a broken nail like it was the worst thing that ever happened to her.  Of course Janet was too modest to tell how she broke the nail saving a child from a burning building, or that she wouldn’t hesitate to do so again.

Susie treated the spoiled manicure as an emergency, and rushed Janet to a chair for immediate treatment.

Soon her nails were soaking in a warm jasmine scented finger bathe.

While working on her nails, Dee Dee asked Janet why she calls herself the wasp.  

Janet thought it was obvious.  It was because she gets small and grows insect wings.

“Oh but wasp also means white anglo saxon person.”

“Well yeah.”

“Is that how you want people to think of you?”

“Uh... I dunno.  I’m white. It’s not really an insult or anything.”

Janet asked why the finger bath was so fragrant.  Dee Dee told her that it was just tea, and the topical treatment helps clean out the skin.  Susie gave Janet a sniff of the tea leaves they use.  The concentrated scent was far more pungent.  It overwhellmed her senses and made her feel dizzy.

“So nails are important to you?”

“Nails are important to me.”  Janet repeated this as though it was not a question.

“You take pride in your manicures.”

“Pride in my manicures.”

“And Pedicures.”

“And Pedicures.”

“You want to take good care of your nails.”

“Good care of my nails.”

Janet kept thinking about nails, while Dee Dee worked on changing skin color darkening her hair and remolding her facial features.  She remembered growing up in an impoverished Vietnamese village.  Since she was small they made her work the fields all day with no concern for what it did to her fingernails.  Now, in Amerika, woman’s pay Jian many dollar to make nails beautiful.  Jian must have pretty nail so woman’s know Jian is good Manicurist.  Jian make nails pretty and Ms. Dee Dee no call immigration.
