While Janet had sent a group to bring in Ms. Marvel, the Hornet Queen had sent Elektra after Daredevil, and also allowed Elektra to choose weather to kill him, or bring him back for conversion.

"Elektra, please. Snap out of it." Daredevil asked his friend, and long time lover.

"Ha, I have been given direct orders from my queen to deal with you." She said getting ready to fight.

"Come to your senses Elektra! You were on the wrong side once before when you worked for the Hand."

"Ha! I was on the wrong side when I joined you, and became a heroine, now I AM on the side I belong" she said as they fought.

(On Utopia)

Emma Frost had formed an alliance with the Hornet Queen, and has begun converting the X-Men.

She decided to start with Kitty Pride.

"Kitty, can I come in for a little bit. I need to talk to you." Emma said knocking on the door to Kitty's room.

"Sure Emma." She said as she opened the door.

As soon as they were alone in the room, Emma began work on Kitty.

(Back at Hornet Queen's base.)

Janet van Dyne aka Hornet Queen, was using the Phoenix Force powers she had obtained, to search through the mind of Carol Danvers, aka Ms. Marvel. She found the memory of when Carol got her powers and became Ms. Marvel.

She first decided to change Carol's memory about life before getting powers. She now had Carol believe that most of humanity had hated her, she was mugged everyday, raped often, and was jobless. Then came when she got her powers.

Without even the slightest effort she changed Carol's recollection of the event from an explosion that caused her get powers from the near-by Captain Marvel's (Mar-Vell).

In Carol's new mind she now remembered having come across an alien ship, and found some Kree inside. They took her captive, and when they told her they wanted to take over the Earth, and enslave humanity, and for discovering this, they were going to kill her. Remembering how she had been treated by her fellow humans, she offered to help them, in exchange for them sparring her life. They allowed it and after some experimentation, she became a Human/Kree hybrid. They took her back to the Kree planet to train using her powers.

Finally after years of training, she became the Kree army's strongest warrior, and she would lead the attack. It was at this time, when they were about to attack, that the Kree planet met with it's destruction.

Hornet Queen placed a thought into Ms. Marvel's head, making her think that Janet had prevented Carol's death, but the Kree were gone. When Carol realized what had happened to the Kree she blamed human kind. Here is where Janet offered her vengeance, in exchange for Carol's undying loyalty to her, as a member of the hive. However she would be required to work with humans that the Hornet Queen allowed into the hive, these ones Carol would accept as allies.

Janet was now done.

It was here when Carol awoke, and stood up.

"So Carol. What do you say, will you accept my offer."

She stood there for a sec, and thought it over. Then she knelled down. "I shall accept your genorous offer, your majesty".
