Morrie Bench went to steal the main jewel at the Museum of Fine Arts. It was after hours, so no one would be there. He had made it a messy trail of water, as he slid towards the room holding the jewel. He heard a chuckle from above.
"Really Morrie?" the familiar voice of Spider-man laughed, he sat on a perch high above the floor. "Why are you wasting my Friday night, Dancing with the Stars is on," he chuckled as he sent a new chemical mixture that was designed to solidify the likes of
Morrie Bench.
The Hydro-man was hit and he felt his arm become solid. "What the hell?" He used his other arm to shoot a large torrent of water right at Spider-man, who flung away due to his Spidey sense. Peter sent another barrage of the new sticky webbing at the villain.
However, before he could react, even though he sensed it, another torrent of water came from behind him. It hit his back, and flung him against the opposite wall. A large amount of water went into his mouth, he tried to fight it away with his arms, causing
a small amount of the sticky solution from his web-shooters to enter his mouth as well. The knock against the wall proved to much, and he fell to the ground, trying to catch his breathe.
The outline of a rather busty watery formed woman came into view. He couldn't see a face, but there was something familiar about the form. And the voice that spoke from the watery mouth. "You're all washed up Spider-man," a husky low female voice spoke.
Morrie laughed, as he pulled the webbing from his arm. "Good one babe,"
The female hydro-villain washed in a wave over to the jewel. She swirled around it, and the jewel seemed to disappear. She sloshed back over to Spider-man. "Tell your "friends", she made a joking watery quoting gesture with her transluscent hands, "that Crime
Wave is taking New York."
The pair of watery forms twirled together and out the front door. He heard the girl mutter how much "fun" that was. He shook his head trying to wrap his brain around the situation. He knew following them would be impossible, and that in time, he'd come across
them again. "Better get outta here before someone finds out I was beaten by a girl." His stomach rumbled as he swung up and out the entrance he came in. It wasn't hunger. Something different. He felt strange all the way home.
Mary Jane Parker greeted him at the window. She grabbed him, and lifted his mask, kissing him on the mouth. The same mixture of Sue's water, and Spidey's chemicals entered her form. As they began to make-out passionately, something was happening to them both.
They were changing. Not in the same way as Morrie and Sue, but in a another strange way.
