Eros was well aware, thanks to that imp from the 4th dimension, of the various short-lived loves between Wonder Woman and Batman in the other dimensions. Granted, permanency was hard to ask for with an immortal and a mortal shacked up, but Eros decided that that obstacle wouldn't be a problem now. He adored Diana, like one would a favored little nephew or niece and wanted her happiness. But he couldn't just undo her immortality without her consent or Zeus would flay him alive for eternity. On the other hand, he couldn't make Bruce Wayne immortal as that violated what made him so effective. It was then that the idea came to him. Reincarnation...the moment either of these versions of Diana or Bruce died, since Diana could very well die in battle and had before, they would be sent to another dimension with their loved one, ensuring their eternity together.
Drawing his arrows, and placing no small amount of his power inside each tip, he let fly, both striking true.
Sitting back, he watched as they came together after a fierce battle, sharing Bruce's life together as he aged, gave her as many days as he could, and finally died, surrounded by Diana and their family at the end.
Tilting his view slightly, Eros smirked as he saw Batman wake up in an entirely new dimension, in the prime of his youth, in his familiar bed, Bruce's arms wrapped around Diana.
But, and Eros giggled as he watched, Diana's soul had just made the journey to her Bruce's soul, her own eyes opening as she felt odd somehow. This was still her body, she could recognize that much, but something was definitely off. Moving a bit, Diana realized what it was...
