Spider-Man overheard a couple of guys saying Lady Octopus was back in town. It certainly deserved to be looked into....
He scanned the city.
Where could they be?

"Hello, Jan."
Jan smiled as Storm walked towards.
"Hey, 'Roro. What's the verdict?"
"We're still thinking things over and Hank has some more tests to run," she said. "Until we have a better idea, we'd like you to stay on the mansion."
Storm clasped Jan's hand.
"And I think you would appreciate another sympathetic ear."
Jan smiled. Storm had been Jean's best friend, and Jan felt really close to her as well. And of course Kitty really looked up to the regal woman.
"Thank you," Jan said.
"Would you like some tea?" Storm asked.

"Oh, mannnnnn," Stinger cooed as she put her costume on again. "That's so awesommme."
"Mmmm, yes," Scarlet Claw laughed. "You are a girl of many talents."
"So what now, boss-babe?"
"I'd like to run more tests on the Melder."
"With Spidey?"
"No. Spider-Man stays how he is, safe and protected."
Stinger cocked her head as she heard the the edge in Carol's voice. She was certainly protective.
"But there's plenty of other people to play with." Scarlet Claw grinned. "And I wouldn't mind expanding our own gang...."
