Spider-Man's senses crackled. Something was wrong.
He hurried down to Stinger's cell to find Cat's Shadow sliding her hand through part of the wall, shorting out the mechanics.
But before he could move, a burst of energy slammed into his neck and he fell unconscious.
"Don't kill him!" Stinger called-out to Conduit, who stood above Spider-Man's unconscious body. "Scarlet Claw would skin us! We can take him with us!"

"Almost done, sugartits?" Thunderhorn asked.
"In a minute, Mama," Sprite giggled as she tried to hotwire the console.
Psychique rolled her eyes. She hoped the other team was doing well. One to get the plane, the other to bust-out Stinger.
"Miss Thang, give Sprite a hand," she said.
"Stretcho'dve totally changed the code, fer sure," the girl replied.
"But you'd still be the most familiar with it."
"'kay, fine," Little Miss Thang said, putting down Johnny's unconscious body and heading over to the console.

"Ah, Susan."
Susan turned around and stared in shock.
A tall woman in her late thirties or early forties was inspecting her. The woman was quite attractive, in an academic sort of way, dressed in a smart pantsuit and glasses, and with her hair pulled into a bun. Susan's eyes fell on the sides of the hair. Though
it was brown, it had a platinum streak on each side.
"Reed?"
"It's Rita, my dear."
