While Norma and Laurie rode in the car Melder flew above them. He enjoyed wearing Lightspeed's form: flight AND beauty. A great combination that felt good. It was at that moment, however, that he noticed the Avengers' student Striker by himself talking
with Songbird from the Thunderbolts. He smiled, Lightspeed's form would make this easy. He told his companions to wait.
"Brandon?" he asks as he lands near the pair. "What are you doing here, everyone's looking for you."
"Julie what the hell? We were going off with the individual Thunderbolts. The ones that oversee the program anyway." Striker stated.
"Of course, sorry it slipped my mind." Melder stated and quickly shot beams at both Striker and Songbird.
The two combined into a teen girl wearing a blue costume with a white lightning bolt pattern and a gold bird emblem on the entire front. She was quite pretty with long dark hair with a large white stripe.
"Wonder who he found?" Laurie asked back in the limo the two were in.
She was answered by "Lightspeed" and this new girl entering the limo. "Hello girls, I brought us a new friend." she smiled. "Norma Lee and Laurie Drake, meet Brenda Sharpe-Gold. Or Thunderbird."
"Thunderbird, isn't there some X-Man with that name?" Norma asked.
"He's a pissant next to me." Brenda stated, "I'm gonna be star. World famous. Nobody will know who he is."
Norma smiled and shook Brenda's hand. "Welcome aboard, Thunderbird." she said.
"One last thing." Melder started, "Since I'm in a girl's body and I'm having fun BEING girls... just think of me as one. And call me Merger from now on." she stated.
"Merger... I like it." Norma smirked.
