Bringing her back had been no easy feat, but thankfully Norman Osborn was not without considerable resources to call upon in a situation like this. So here  was Gwen Stacy back in the prime of her life, with no signs of the tragic fate that had befallen her. Not a clone like that fool Warren had been trying to make over the years, but the real woman. Ready to join Norman at his side as he once again challenged the world and a certain wall-crawling hero.

Gwen blinked a few more times as some of the mental haze cleared. She now recognized that voice from her past. From before the fall from the bridge. She tried to get up, but found there were restraints holding her down on the table as well as some kind of helmet over her head. However, she could move around a little and saw that she was in a lab of some kind. More specifically, she was inside a rather large glass-walled chamber.

"Mr...Osborn? But...how? Why?"

"Because I missed you, my dear Gwendolyn. Our time together was special and I was a fool for throwing it away so callously."

The blonde co-ed was confused by his words, not yet aware that Norman had been under the Green Goblin's mask that day on the bridge. She had so many questions, as it seemed like she was missing something important.

"I don't understand...why am I strapped down?"

"Because my work isn't done quite yet."

From the unseen speaker in the chamber came the sounds of buttons being push and dials turned. Now that she was awake and aware, it was time for the second phase of the process to begin. A low hissing sound began to emanate from the nozzles set into the floor. The gas filling the chamber was a variant on the formula that had given Norman his own superhuman strength and regeneration mixed with a mild hallucinogen he'd gotten from Mysterio some time back.

It wasn't long before Gwen's eyes began to dilate, even as her body was effected by the gaseous Goblin Formula. Her muscles began to tense, gaining some mass and tone. Her chest swelled up at least a cup size as well The restraints holding her down might have been snapped by her new strength and chest, but the former girlfriend of Spider-man was too distracted by the images on a screen that had lowered down from the chamber's ceiling. The flashing lights combined with impulses from the helmet on her head to lull her into a deeply suggestive state.

The set-up was derived from the Winkler Device one of his former employees at Oscorp had created. Combined with the hallucinogen, it was already beginning to build new memories for Ms. Stacy of a life abroad, recovering from the trauma of her fall from the bridge. But she'd survived thanks to Norman who tended to her personally, helping her to regain her strength.

It was during this that she'd learned the truth about her beloved Peter, that he was Spider-man, the one she'd held responsible for the death of her father and he had nearly killed her too. All of the love she felt for him curdled into a burning hatred. Something that was nurtured by Norman who also came to fill the gaping hole in her heart. Their wedding was a private affair, almost marred by his confession of being the Green Goblin. But by now, Gwen was too far gone in her hatred of Peter Parker and Spider-man to blame him, instead placing it squarely on the accursed arachnid for his lies and murderous ways.

It wasn't long before she began helping her new husband in his schemes of revenge on Parker. At first, she made sure his operations in Europe ran smoothly, something she proved exceptionally good. But that wasn't enough for Gwendolyn Stacy-Osborn. She craved a more personal revenge on the man she blamed for all her life's miseries. So it was that she prevailed upon Norman to help create a Goblin identity of her own, one to match his.

Back in the real world, there was another hiss as a tube rose up from the floor. Inside was a version of the Green Goblin's outfit made for a woman. There was a slight ding from the helmet on Gwen's head as her new memories put down firm roots. It rose up, as the restraints holding her down were released. The blonde woman rose from the table, blinking a few times before her eyes caught a glimpse of the tube and its contents. Her lips parted in a wicked smile, even as her gaze began to become a bit more crazed.

With a skip in her step, she approached and removed the costume of her alter ego. Like she'd done it for years, Gwendolyn slipped her arms into the green-tinged scaled underarmor and began pulling on the thick purple leather dress that came halfway down her thighs. Next came the leather gauntlets with their built-in finger blasters, followed by the thick-heeled boots that went up to her knees.

Finally, she picked up the mask. The yellow eye-lens contrasted with the slightly-scaly green skin, while the purple cap with its long tail flapped a little as she held it up. Its ears were long and tapered to distinct point while the facial features were distinctively feminine in shape. She swiftly bunched up her long blonde hair and began to pull the mask on. The long cap easily contained her golden tresses as she adjusted the thick rubber that now covered her head. Her eyes looked out from behind those yellow lens, the earlier madness very evident in them. A mad laughter soon boiled out her, filling the chamber as Norman Osborn looked on with a lustful and wide grin. Now it was
time for the Goblin Queen to take the stage.
