Peter woke up from bed and discovered he was running late for his day job. Which was why he had had just gathered what clean and good clothes he had, eat enough of a toaster pastry and a glass of juice to be counted as a breakfast, then gathered his things to leave so he would not be late for work.

 A quick costume change and he was web-slinging across the city to the building he would be toiling in for the paycheck. As he moved over the city he seemed to notice a few things which were normal and yet caused his to feel like it was strange.

 'There's something different but what? Everyone cheering for me... well, yeah they had been against me. Jolly Jameson managed to have most people against me, till I kept save the world from diaster while cleaning the streets to earn their respect. Especially with the number of sexy ladies.
