The Spider-Man and Wolverine Show! X-Babies! Many others! Mojoworld ran a lot of different TV shows, beaming them out for high ratings. Mojoworld's media-oriented culture didn't ask, but demanded to see movies and television shows able to please the masses. Over the centuries, a wide array of programs brought Mojoworld's people anything and everything they could ever want... that is, except for one idea. It was a TV show pitch so perfect, Mojo himself refused to see it put into syndication, afraid its effect on the Spineless Ones would render them unable to enjoy any other, future shows. Yet with interest flagging, and unrest knocking on his doorstep, Mojo gave in.
It was time. He would reach way back, before his media empire, before Arize's inventions revolutionized their culture, and tap into the most fundamental desire instilled in the Spineless Ones' formative years. The radio and television signals that bombarded his ancestors' brains created disdain, fear and awe toward humans, turned this pitch into the single most devastating, secretly desired program for all of Mojoworld.
From the safety of his lair, Mojo looked over the candidates. Each woman looked strong, respectable glowing. In a word, beautiful. They exhibited the kind of beauty made to look common and expected by the shows beamed into the brains of the Spineless Ones' ancestors. Whether they had toned muscles, heaving bosoms, firm asses, or just a pretty face, the women looked gorgeous, exactly the kind of look that aroused the deep wonder and outrage in the Spineless Ones.
Of course, none of the women knew they were about to become stars of one of his shows. They also didn't know that they would soon exhibit some very choice flaws, designed specifically by Mojo to make them undesirable despite their beauty. Physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, whatever form the change took, the Spineless Ones would revel in watching each woman fail at using her beauty to attract a partner.
With the necessary prompting, naturally. To ensure the drama he sought, Mojo included a little aphrodisiac care package to go along with the changes. Something that gave each star a little bit of the boost they needed to keep going in spite of rejections, while also obliviously showcasing their new flaws with each attempt.
He eyed the scoreboard for coming rejections in his latest program: Skin Deep.
