A small crowd of X-students gathered around the television, watching the program intently, while Logan sat in the corner, happily nursing a cold beer.

“…with all the alien technology on earth, all the intergalactic travelers and superhuman presence, it’s a wonder no one’s come up with this product before!” a well-dressed scientist lady smiled as she spoke. “Our ‘True Beauty’ line is completely revolutionary. It’ll knock our competitors out of the park for sure!”

Logan merely scoffed as he watched some of the students, mostly female, whisper among themselves. He’d seen this horse-and-pony show before, and didn’t think much of it.

Her hair was also longer, thicker and more vibrant. Now Logan was slightly impressed. And that was saying something.

“For only 30.99$ a bottle, you too can release your true self! Become the person you’ve always wanted to be! It works on both men and women!” as the commercial ended, most of the students left, some of them discussing how to order the product. A few of them eyed Logan as they passed.

But damn it, she was a Superhero! She had a lot of competition in the likes of Wasp, Black Widow and her idol, Captain Marvel. If she ever wanted to stand out among them, she needed an edge

She poured herself the recommended dosage and gulped it down, letting the liquid drip down her throat, unaware that her thumb was covering up a warning, written in bold print UNTESTED ON SUPERHUMANS.
