Hulk and Thor were smashing the Wendigo to pulps as they exited the dry dock hanger, Iron Man worked with Black Widow and Hawkeye to provide fire support on the massed Wendigo inside while Captain America was checking on the survivors of their S.H.I.E.L.D. shuttle crew.

"Please stand aside," A Doom-bot announced, "Suicide proticals have been activated!"

"What?" Hulk asked.

The purple and green robot ran past him right into the heart of the massed fur and furry.  An explosion consumed the Doom-Bot's last position.  More Bots moved up, raising their right arm and firing away with their medium machine guns.  The hail of fire was taking a toll on the beasts.  Three more Doom-bots rushed into the melee and detonated.

"Doom must really not like these guys!" Iron Man Quipped, "He never put suicide protocols on any of the drones he sent after us!"

"These are the attacks of the despite!" Thor declared.

"That describes us Commrades!" The Black Widow shouted as she reloaded.

Puck bounced off the Wendigo, the Wendigo fell back onto the fuel drum as the Doom-Bot fired into the drum burning out the monster's heart in the fire ball.

"It seams that the best way to get them is with fire," Strange noted.

As Puck shook his head, he saw the translucent figure of a farm girl picking tomatoes in a garden.

"Did you see that Sasquatch?" Puck asked.

"No," Sasquatch said as he hurled a helicopter rotor at the monsters, "And you can't convince me I saw it either."

"The power here," Strange explained, "it is tearing at the very fabric of reality!"

"There is no time left," Captain Britain shouted, "We have to get to the queen!"

"Easier said then done right now!" Johnny Storm Shouted.

At the north light house, the Doom-bots were clearing the way, one suicide run at a time.  Logan wasn't the only one wondering how much more the tunnels could take.

"Subtle this ain't," Blade observed, then did a double take, "were we in a basement?"

"Reality... fractures.... Must.... Hurry...." Ghost Rider said as he doused a Wendigo with hell fire.

*******

"Fire in the HOLE" the Red Hulk shouted as he shot off a howitzer from his shoulder.

The blast cleared the Wendigo in front of the entrance.  More of the Doom-Bots marched forward.

"Come on," Iron Man turned to Captain America.

"Can you fight soldier?" Capt turned to the Door Gunner.

"I can fight, but I need ammo," the kid said.

"What have you go?" Capt asked.

"A .45 and two single stack mags."

Captain reached into a long forgotten pocket and pulled out two 1911 pistol magazines.

"Now you have four," Captain America smiled.

The Avengers, Red Hulk, and the Doom-Bots pressed their attack into the underground complex.

"It's getting hairy!" Bishop shouted.

"We are running out of plasma charges," Cable informed them, "The one bright side is that we have cleared the barracks area.  Now we can try for the nest throw the south door or try the east door and meet up with Logan?"

"The halls are still crawling," Jean started then Emma finish, "and they are coming."

"We are going to have to jump out!" Bishop said, "It's that or get over run."

There was a cracking noise coming from the roof, a hole broke open.  Everyone stopped in horror, Then Doom-Bots jumped down into the barracks.

"I never thought I would be glad to see them!" Spiderman remarked.

"I never thought I would want to kiss one Tiger!" Scarlet Spider shot at her husband.

The Ammo dump was empty, well mostly, there were scrapes of wood and metal, then a few crates left untouched.

"Nothing to see here," Iron Man said, turning to the exit on the other side of the room.

"We need to keep moving..." Captain America started.

"DOWN!" the gunner shouted as he fired the pistol franticly.

The Wendigo had been behind the crates.  The shots had gone in it's eyes and killed it.

"Thanks," Captain America said.

"Three mags."

"Just to be sure," Red Hulk curb stompted the corpse.

"Lets move people!" Hawkeye shouted.

"Go ahead," The gunner said moving towards the crates, "I just need to check something."
