Avengers Mansion, New York City
There was a knock at the door, and Steve turned to look as the fingers curled around the end of the open door. Jen Walters smiled as she slide into Steve Rodger’s room. It had been months since the Wendigo episode and Jen’s body looked almost like the new She-Hulk’s. Steve remained tense as he looked at her in her bathrobe.
“Hay, calm down,” Jen half smiled, “I’m good. Thor decided to spend the night with me. I just wanted to talk for a few before Al and Monica woke up.”
Steve had been seated at his desk with the morning paper after his pre-dawn jog. He kept the sweatshirt on to avoid provoking Jen’s new hunger.
“Did they ever find out who that man was?” Jen nodded towards the folders with the report by Shield.
“Seems the Nuclear Weapons custodians have an easy time getting tactical jobs in Shield,” Steve shrugged, “There were eight of them that could have been the hero. So they are all getting posthumous Medals of Honor. How are the Richards? You have been spending a lot of time with them.”
“Johnny is joining a monastery,” Jen looked away, “he has a lot to feel guilty about. Sue and Reed are trying their best to raise the kids. It’s hard, the kids are reminders of being monsters and what it cost them.”
“Ben Junior. Have you seen this?” Steve pulled the entertainment section of the Daly Planet out, “Mrs. Parker is now the star of the number one rated TV show in the country. ‘Momma Parker’s super babies have proven so popular that it will be run a second time each day in prime time’, and the networks are in a bidding war to get the rights from PPS.”
“Wow, when she said she could get me a spot on the show I thought it was garage act,” Jen said.
“So you turned her down?” Steve asked.
“No,” Jen shrugged, “Al hulked out over a poopy diaper so I never gave her an answer.”
There was an awkward silence for a moment.
“How was that camping trip with Logan last weekend?” Jen asked.
“And about half his student,” Steve smirked, “It seems that the Phoenix Queen freaks out all the students. Mr. Cartier joined us. They all seemed to enjoy nature but had a new respect for the things that go bump in the night. Not fear, but respect.”
There was a blood curtiling scream. Jen’s face turned red.
“Monica?” Steve half smiled.
“Yeah,” Jen said sheepishly.
“I have to get a shower anyways. I’ll see you later,” Steve smiled.
Jen went to leave but gave one lusty look back, since the Wendigo episode there wasn’t an avenger that she hadn’t sleep with, male or female and her sexual appetite didn’t show any sign of letting up.
