For a little while, Becky took her time looking Ms. Marvel over. There were so many ways she could go. Finally, with a snap of her fingers and a big grin, she figured it out.
"Congratulations, Ms. Marvel! Your life's about to do a complete 180."
Fiddling with the control device, Becky set to work instilling the sort of interests and values that Kamala would really need to serve her role well. Being that she only knew so much, she did the best she could with general commands meant to nudge Kamala's mind toward depraving itself. Finalizing the changes, Becky looked at the slack-jawed, empty-eyed doll and spoke to confirm the changes.
"Who were you?" Becky asked.
"Ms. Marvel, superhero, leader of the Champions."
"And what are you now?"
"Fasiq, super loser."
Finally, eagerly, she leaned in to let what Kamala had to say really ring in her ears. "What is your mission?"
"To violate the tenets of Islam and betray my own beliefs in every way I can, becoming a public nuisance and embarrassment that people would be glad to see defeated by people like Lockdown."
