The mighty T-Rex looked up to the Sky and his mighty Voice echoed over the forest. But the Burning Ball that moved through the sky didn’t show any kind of Reaction. Instincts told the Hunter that this new thing was dangerous. Even more dangerous than the most feared Hunter of this Time. He turned around and started to run but he wasn’t fast enough. As the Object crashed into the Ground the Shockwave destroyed the forest and a Wall of Fire burned everything to Ash. It took days before the dust settled and inside a giant crater rested a gigantic Pyramid. It was as big as a Small Mountain and at least 2500 feet high and the Basement was buried deep inside the Ground. On the top of the Mighty Building rested a huge Crystal that glowed in a pulsing emerald light. The whole Building was build out of a strange looking Metal. The heat had burned it but it became Liquid and flowed over the outer Walls were it left only fully intact black Metal. While the crashed Building started to repair itself slowly the Sky suddenly was cut by yellow Beams of light. The Dinosaurs that had survived the first Impact looked up to the Sky but their little Brains could only understand that a new raptor had arrived. Three of the Laser‘s moved the Land like Searchlights and found the Pyramid. Locking up on the Building only seconds later the Battleship in the Orbit opened fire. On Board of the elegant shaped Spaceship the Captain sat in his majestic Chair and looked over the flowing Holograms. The beautiful Runes informed him that the Monolith had survived the crash. Again he was impressed how tough the Necron Technology was.

“Order to the fleet. Open fire at will. It has to end here once and for all.” He ordered one of his Officers.

The voice of the humanoid creature was melodic and soft. His Body was not muscular but it was showing an Unearthly elegance. His huge Yellow Pupils had sawn over two Thousand years of War against the old enemy. He was one of the oldest of his Race and the Prove that the First had made his Species without fear of natural Death. His Sharpe-shaped Ears had heard the Sound of the War on thousand Planets. He didn’t know who had started this War, nor did it matter to him. It was an open Secret that the First had manipulated the Evolution on his Home world to create an Army for their Battle. It was true that the First had Power beyond all understanding but their Enemy was numberless. In their first War the First had crushed the Empire of the Necrontyr without even focus all their Might on the second Superpower in the Galaxy. His own Species had not even learned to make Fire as these two Empires had fought with Weapons that could destroy Solar Systems. But the First hadn’t destroyed the Necrontyr while they had the chance. They simply destroyed their Empire and left them back with only a few Systems. They weren’t a Treat to the First anymore.

But the Necrontyr found new Allies between the Stars. Space Born creatures that feed from the Energy of Suns and with the Power to shift Reality to their Will. These Creatures, the Necrontyr called them C’tan, had never done anything else than feed. But thanks to the Necrontyr they Learned that the Souls of Living Beings were much sweeter than the raw Essence of a Sun. the Necrontyr build powerful Bodies for the Energy of the C’tan out of Living Metal. The C’tan On the other Side offered the Mortal Necrontyr a way to archive their greatest Goal.

Immortality.

The Necrontyr worked day and night to build enough Robotic Bodies out of Living Metal. Even when one of the advanced Bodies would suffer critical Damage it would be able to Regenerate or to teleport back to a Tomb World to wait for Repair. But their new allies hadn’t told the Necrontyr that it was not possible to transfer the whole Soul into the new Body. Only the highest Rungs could get enough Power and Supplies to build better Bodies. But even these lacked the ability to feel anything. But with the help of the C’tan and their new body the Necron, as they called themselves now, were able to unleash terrible Chaos to the Universe. The First fought with Reality-Warping Powers and thousands of Worlds were lost in the Battle. This time the War went bad for the First and so they created their own Armies to battle the Necron. Their first test were the brutal Orcs but soon they had to learn that raw Power wasn’t the best Way to fight the Necron. So they boosted the Evolution of this Eldar. Given great psionic Power they were able to fight the Necron with advanced Weapon and the better tactics. But not even the Eldar could help the First anymore. In a last show of Power the First teard down the Wall between Reality and the Warp himself. It was the last Hope for them but their plan failed miserable. The Rift between the two Dimensions destroyed the remaining First and without the help of the first the Eldar and the Orcs would soon follow them. But then suddenly the Silent King, the ruler of the Necron unleashed all the Power of his Race in a single Blow against the C’tan. Weakened by the attack of the First the Necron managed to shatter the immortal Bodies of their former Allies. Unable to destroy them they collected the Shards of their Bodies and sealed all of them in special Teserakt prisons. But this devastating Blow had weakened the Necron so much that they couldn’t hope to win a Battle against the Eldar.

But time didn’t mean anything for the Necron any longer. Almost all of them were put into planet-sized Tombs to sleep for millions of years. Should the Eldar rule over their Galaxy for a while. After all the Eldar were maybe blessed with eternal Life but they were still made out of flesh. The Eldar did they best to track all of the hidden tombs but they couldn’t find all. After that they send their biggest Fleet and their best Soldiers after the Tomb ship of the Silent king. They hoped to cut off the head but soon had to learn that the Silent King was no easy bounty. In the Orbit of the third planet of an Unimportant System they had been able to catch him and opened fire

The mighty Tomb ship proved to be a worthy Enemy. Even outnumbered by more than 1 to 200 it was clear that the Eldar had Underrestinnented the Ship. One by one the Elderships were destroyed by massive Gauss fire. Only the brave Attack of two Ships turned the tides. On collision course the rammed the ship and overloaded their Engines. The remaining Fleet had no time to honour this Act of sacrifice and fired until the heavy Pulsar Gun’s started to glow. Many ships fired with overheated Weapons until they turned into little Suns. But without the Shields the tomb ship was suffering heavy Damage and the Silent king left the Ship in his Command Monolith.

The Impact had unleashed Radiation and enough Dust into the Atmosphere that even the advanced Scanners of the Eldar Ships hadn´t been able to find the Monolith. So they had waited patiently inside the Orbit and fired broadside after broadside at the Location of the Monolith. But even without the Main Ship the Monolith had impressive Force Fields. The Area around the Monolith was destroyed but the Energy of the Ship was showing no signs of losing Power. So the Eldar launched their Transport Ships to enter the Building. The Commander of the Fleet had tried to avoid this but he knew that he hadn´t enough Firepower left to break through the Force Field. It would take many Lives to storm the Monolith but he hoped that it would be worth it.

Hours later thousand Eldar moved towards the Monolith. With them walked mighty War machines and Battle Tanks. The fine crafted Weapons were much deadly than they looked and the Eldar walked with the Knowledge that they fought for the right Thing.

Inside the Monolith the Silent King had watched the whole Attack and the Landing Operation without any Emotion. His Body was the most advanced of his Kind and he had been able to keep most of his Emotion and feelings but he didn’t felt any Mercy for the Eldar that walked into their death. His Kind had been mortal long enough to know what it meant to die. On a single wink of his Hand the 2 Guardians behind him nodded only and turned around. Their Movement was in a perfect Union as they left the Royal Chamber. As they teleported down into the basement the Royal Guard rose into a defence State. The low Warriors of the Necron had been normal People in their Life and had only got Bodies that would allow them to Fight for the higher Ranks in all eternity. Unable to talk or even to show the smallest Emotion these Warriors awaited their Orders. Without saying a Word the 2 lower Lords moved outside the Monolith. Each of them was followed by 50 Necron Warriors. They walked right into the Enemy and opened Fire with methodical and precise Fire. The heavy Fire that awaited them would have made every living Army feel Fear but the Necron´s couldn’t feel this any longer. The Eldar had to focus their Fire to take the Enemy down but it took 30 or more Shots to take down one Necron only to see him repair himself and fight again. Then suddenly there was the Sound of a Generator that Powered up. Only few Eldar had ever heard this Voice. And the ones that had heard it looked around for Cover. But there wasn’t any. The Crystal on the Monolith started to Pulse faster and faster and released its Energy in a sudden burst of Energy. A green glowing Ball of Gauss-Energy moved right into the Firing Battle Tanks of the Eldar. In the Blink of an Eye the Tanks vanished and were vaporized just before the Remaining Eldar. Without the heavy Weapon Support the chances to win this Battle were drastic reduced. But some of the Eldar didn’t gave up. They draw their Psionic Swords and run right into the Enemy. With extreme fast movements and superior Reflexes they were able to turn the Battle once more. But it lasted only a few Minutes. The second wave of the Necron started their Fire and the Gauss Beams hit Enemy and Friend alike. The Necron Armour was stressed to the Maximum as the Gauss Energy exploded on their Body and some of them really went down. But most of the Dead were Eldars. From this Moment it wasn’t a real Battle anymore. It was a slaughter. The Eldar tried to reach their Landing Ships but the Necron hunted them down.

In the Orbit the Admiral saw his Men die one by one. Closing his Eyes he thought what he could do and then he made his final Choice. He gave order to bombard the Planet. They would extinct every Life of this Planet. He would destroy the entire Planet if it was necessary. The Ships fired for days and set the Planet on Fire. Most of the Necron Warriors suffered irreparable Damage and were destroyed after their Living Metal Bodies were hit by Anti-Spaceship Guns. The Silent King new that this would be his End. He had no Weapon that could destroy the Spaceships from his current Location. So he had to try a trick. He fired his Main Gun and let the Gauss Energy explode direct over his own Monolith. Then he directed all his Energy into his Scramblers. It was a very risky Move but he had no other Option. If the Eldar would fire now his Shield´s wouldn’t hold of the Energy. But if he could them then maybe they would leave the Orbit and give him time to regenerate his Systems. Much to his Luck the Scanners of the Eldar weren’t as good as they thought. On their Monitors they only saw a huge Gauss Detonation and after that the Monolith was gone. Thanks to their massive Bombardment it was impossible to land or to enter the Atmosphere but they were sure that they had managed it. On his screen the Silent King saw the Fleet of the Eldar leave the Orbit and entered the Sub-Space to go on Hyperspeed.

The Silent King rose from his Chair and crossed his Arms on his Metallic Chest. The Damage Report was not looking good. Most of the Systems were defect and he couldn’t risk to call for Help. The Eldar would surely heard it and would return. His calculations showed him that it would take an eternity to repair all the Damage. And he simply hadn´t that much Energy left. With a last command he walked into his Private Crypto Chamber and deactivated his Systems. As all the other Necron he would wake up in 60 million Rotations of this Planet. The great Plan forced all other Necron´s to wake up at the same time. Then he could call his People. As his Systems went to deep Sleep Mode the remaining Necron Warriors also walked toward their sleeping Chambers. Only the Necron Wraith and the Canoptek Scarab were left active. They would defend the Monolith in case something would enter it and the small Scarabs were able to repair the Monolith and over the Time.

While the Necron slept the World around them changed and the Monolith was buried under hundred feet’s of Stone and Earth. While they slept the Evolution walked another Way on the Planet. The Eldar had wiped out most of the bigger Dinosaurs but smaller Creature had survived the planet wide changes better than the giant Reptiles. A few million Years passed and the Mammal was the dominating Species on the Planet. Even more Millions of years passed and the first Humanoid Species walked around the Planet and made its first Step to conquer the Planet. In only a few thousand Years these Ape-like Humans evolved into the Homo sapiens and these Homo sapiens thought to be the rulers of the World.

Nobody knew what a grave Danger rested deep under the Earth of the Planet. The Reanimation of the Necron King Hadn´t worked as it should have and so his slumber lasted longer than expected. He should have been awake since a few hundred years ago but he still slept in his Chamber. He still dreamed of a way to transfer his Soul and the Souls of his Kind back into real Bodies out of Flesh. And while he dreamed of this final Goal the Human´s over him had evolved. Some of them had even Power´s that he needed. Superior Creatures with Superhuman Strength or Powers that were World Shaking. Two of these Creatures fought right above him and the Energy that they unleashed finally woke him. Leaving his Chamber he found only 2 of his Honour Guard waiting for him. The other 3 laid on the Ground. They had been destroyed thousand Years ago. But it didn’t matter to him. His Scanners showed that these Human´s maybe were just the thing he needed to free his Race. All he had to do was to conquer them. But he didn’t knew that one of his Programs had suffered over the Millennia in the Chapter. He felt long lost Emotions again. The Idea of reproduction and contain Woman was suddenly a very dominant Thought.
