The problem was the spread of the rumor. The fact the rumor spread so fast and hot meant that not only Buffy and the Scoobies as well as Angel and the Fang Gang had an equal chance of getting to the lost temple which contained the legendary and mysterious source of Ultimate Power. The fact the temple and it's history as well as location was part of a brand new ancient legend which had always existed... meant trouble.

Which is how when the arrived to see a golden and familiar to some glove with six gemstones, they were not alone. May enemies, both known and unknown had shown up to win the power. A battle royal without rules or mercy began as the one who gained the power would have the power to do anything. they wanted at a whim. Attacks, counterattacks, and reversals all occurred.

Finally, one lucky person got close enough to collect the glove without getting attack by someone else.They soon had the glove on and held the power of the stones. Time, Space, Reality, Mind, Power and Soul was theirs to command and control.
