Batman had been out on a routine patrol when he'd caught something one the police radio about two females causing all sorts of chaos in the middle of Gotham's biggest shopping center. He figured it would be Ivy and Harley. No two criminals he had faced teamed-up as much as those two, and no two worked together as well. This were going normally once he'd gotten there. He tussled with a few hypnotized security guard, police officers and hired thugs. However, things started to get strange right around the mid-point of the caper. Harley and Ivy had been attacking his with everything they had and he'd been able to barely avoid getting crushed by giant plant monsters or blown up by Harley's bazooka, which she somehow managed to conceal up until that point. Then the two stopped for some reason and Ivy concealed them inside a plant. When Batman had gone to investigate, the plant let loose a thick cloud of gas without warning and Batman was quickly overtaken and knocked out. He awoke to find himself tied to a large tree.
