Something had snapped inside Bruce's mind. He found himself dominated by his lust for power. His desire for control over his life and others became overwhelming. All he wanted was to grab power and live as a god among men.

He had several goals in mind.

He needed to find a way to give himself superpowers. Combined with his extraordinary skills that already made him more than a match to most superheroes and supervillains, he could become unstoppable if he had powers like Superman. If the Boyscout could beat almost anyone with his pitiful combat skills, a superpowered Dark Knight would have no equal in the Universe.

He had wanted to kill the Joker for ages but had refrained from doing so, because he was afraid of crossing the line. But the Joker and the rest of his rogue's gallery had abused his compassion for too long. It was time he did something more permanent to them.

His superfriends and family were getting on his nerves. They never took him or his job seriously. To them, crime-fighting was nothing but a game. Of course, when you had superpowers, it was easy to beat the bad guys and make it look like it was easy. He needed to put them in their place, to make them understand the seriousness of the superhero business. It was time they realized they were nothing but a bunch of overeager children and stopped taking him for a spoiled brat.

Contrary to popular belief, Bruce Wayne didn't get to fuck all the women he showed up with in magazines, charity functions and other galas. He barely even got a taste of any of them. His mission as Batman didn't leave enough time to actually do the deed and, when he wasn't spending his rare free time resting, he had to make sure the woman was drunk enough not to notice his scars. Most of them just fell asleep from the alcohol in their bloodstream before he had time to divest them. So yeah, one percent would be a very optimistic guess. He wanted a regular sex life, preferably with several women.

The never-ending battle with crime was not the only thing wrong with the World. Maybe it was time for him to make things change. Even now he was one of the only people on Earth who had a real chance to take over and rule the Planet. With the resources, the technology and the intelligence the Justice League had collected over the years, he could make his home world into the Galaxy's next dominant power.

There was so much he wanted to do. The only question was what he would start with.
