Every part of the deal had been put in place rather quickly.

Sinister would produce the chemical, the traitor would use them on the X-men and, if successful, the buyer would purchase as much of it as Sinister could make.

Everyone would benefit from the deal: Sinister would be able to study the effects on the X-Men (always a source of interest for him), The traitor would use Sinister's chemicals to get an X-Woman that he'd long lusted after and the buyer would have a new weapon to use on every superhero (and superheroine) who could potentially give them a problem.

As such, it was in everyone's best interest that everything went perfectly.

One wrong step and there would be hell to pay for whoever failed.

It had started with the Buyer asking Sinister for something that could help in his attempts to gain power.

Sinister had something that he'd been working on, so most things were in place.

There was just one piece of the puzzle that Sinister had left before he could begin testing on the X-Men.

He needed someone on the inside.

Luckily he knew the perfect person.

He'd kept a student in the back of his mind from the few, brief encounters they'd had.

No one noticed it, but it was clear to Sinister that he was resentful of his low place on the X-Men's totem pole.

He managed to get into contact with him and made him a deal: Help test the chemical on the X-Men and, in return the potential traitor would get whatever they wanted.

As it turned out, he wanted one of his teachers.

Sinister wasn't surprised that his terms was related to sex, luckily he had something that could help him in that regard.

A little device that would make her susceptible to the students control.

He almost instantly agreed on the terms and Sinister's mole was given instructions to keep a low profile and, when the time was right, then he'd strike.

Once exposed to a person, the chemical unleashed a virus that lowered people's inhibitions which tended to push people towards doing things that they wouldn't have considered actually doing.

Even better, the chemical was undetectable so not even Wolverine would smell it and no one would ever know that they'd been hit by it, not even after they began to feel the effects of the virus.

And on a team like the X-Men, the effects would probably be absolutely devastating.

Even among other superhero teams, the X-men were notorious for having barely repressed attractions towards one another and this would push plenty of people over the edge and into making bad decisions that would tear the team to shreds.

At least that was the hope.

The effects had been tested on a few random people that Sinister had kidnapped and things had gone very well before, but this was the X-Men.

They had a tendency to undo even his best plans and if one thing were to go wrong then everyone involved would be in a hell of a lot of trouble.

Still, he had to move forward with this plan, so first thing was first for Sinister, he made sure his mole set up video cameras everywhere so that he could easily study how everyone reacted to the virus.

With everything set up, Sinister sent word to his mole that it was time to expose the X-men to the chemical.

If every thing went well, the X-Men would never be the same and, more importantly, they'd never pose a threat to Sinister or the Buyer ever again.
