"Dr. Zachary Violet" smiled as he leaned back in his elegantly upholstered chair and gazed at his office. The Purple Man's powers had recently mutated -- or rather greatly increased. No longer could he only control people for a limited time. Now, by properly focusing his powers, he could make permanent alteration to people's minds... and even to their bodies! Thanks to his enhanced abilities, he could also make people perceive him as whatever he wishes, and now they would see him as nothing more than the benevolent and wise psychiatrist, Dr. Zachary Violet. The sadistic puppeteer wanted to have some fun with those so-called paragons of virtue who'd bedeviled him over the years. Thanks to his power's influence, many would drop in on him to have an appointment, and would leave very, very different.
