Peter pondered the choice he was about to make. To sell his marriage to the devil, in exchange for the life of his aunt. A choice he had a hard time to make. He couldn't sacrifice M.J.'s happiness for his aunt, at least without her permission. Mary Jane then spoke to the demon Mephisto, making a deal of her own before coming to him to say she was alright with it...
...Only for the sudden blast of golden light to reveal what looked like Mary Jane standing next to the devil. One if pink toga like robes, but what was different was the fact it looked like M.J. without any flaws or defects making her look more then human. Like a goddess. She then began to spoke,
"Halt, Mephisto. You dare to corrupt my own realm, to pit one kind of love against another kind of love. This is an insult to me, Mistress Love. Especially one as pure as the love these two have and the love between them and May Parker."
"So the incarnation of love challenges the incarnation of evil. You dare to think you can harm me? Evil is greater then all the love you..." The devil stopped as he grimaced in pain, bending over in pain before continuing it, "What suffering is this? What have you done, witch?"
"True Evil can only exist in the void without love, without compassion, without empathy. You may simulate those emotions, but you can not truly feel them without loosing your essence. In effect, Love is a poison for you, and I have injected it into you. I offer the devil a deal. Leave these mortals to me, and I will remove the love corrupting your evil core. " spoke the cosmic being who took the form of Peters wife.
"I yield for now. But I will make you suffer Parker, you and your loved ones." spoke the demon as he disappeared into the shadows.
Peter felt his spirits sink as he realized his hope for his aunt was gone, till Mistress Love spoke again, "Fear not, Peter Parker. You are a being of love, a being who is love by many, even if you do not know it. I can save your aunt and remove your identity from all others, for my powers are just as great as the devil you sought. I will give your aunt her life back, you would regain your privacy, your marriage would remain... but I would ask a boon.
"I would ask..."
