There was a knock at the front door to the Xavier Institute. Hope answered the door and waved them in before covering her mouth and rushing off.
“Ah,” Professor Xavier walked up, “Director Fury. I see you brought Miss Kinney Back.”
Laura was curled up in Fury’s arms nursing an oversized bottle of Vodka.
“Before you ask why we needed her help you should know that some questions you don’t want to see the answer too,” Fury said.
“Fair enough,” Professor Xavier said as he ran his hand throw his blonde locks.
“It seems that Deadpool used the sample of Blue Flu on the off-Broadway cast of Cats. Miss Kinney might be more than a little bit traumatized,” Fury said.
“Yiffing,” Laura took another swig of vodka.
“How is Doctor Wyndham?” Professor Xavier asked.
“Logan managed to cure him and Mrs. Wyndham,” Fury took Laura to a couch.
“Mrs. Wyndham?” Xavier asked.
“Miss Summers seemed a little bit green around the gills,” Fury noted.
“Ah,” Xavier stammered.
“Yeah don’t worry,” Fury shrugged, “You won’t have to explain why all your female residents are suffering from morning sickness to Child serves or the board of Ed. Miss Kitty and Wyndham are expecting a litter of their own. The prison chaplain married them.”
“Ah that’s so sweet!” Rogue said as she walked in holding Gambit’s arm and her belly.
Fury noted that she wasn’t wearing gloves nor was Gambit wearing his long coat. It seemed Rogue finally had control over her powers. It seemed that pretty much all of the mutants at the school were cured of the worst aspects of their mutations. All of the females save Laura were all pregnant too.
“Logan should be back shortly form the complex where we are keeping Wyndham,” Fury smiled as he walked away.
